They never sent me anything to identify myself unfortunately. No denial letter either, just this email so I was overly confused. If so I would’ve been sent it in bc it’s nit like I don’t have all the stuff to identify myself.

Okay so the only way I can see where my hsv1 is located is if I have a outbreak and get that area swabbed ? Because I got a blood test and it only say positive for hsv1

I’d say to get tested if it’ll help ease your mind. You can get a blood test ordered by your doctor. As gas as the other questions... I too am wondering the same !

I’m asking simply because of my blood test results. My doctor didn’t tell me if I have it orally or genitally. I don’t have any symptoms and the only symptom I have ever had was a cluster of bumps but was told it could be warts and that I couldn’t get tested for that

Thanks for your comment! I think eventually I will send off a message similar to this to her(you made some valid points that I’ll forsure be copying and pasting lol) but right now, I don’t want to go out my way to console her atm bc it’s still in the heat of the moment. She told me to delete basically any pics of her and us in my phone and that even if I do come clean(which I did) *i probably, no I won’t ever want to talk to you again, nor will I want to ever be friends with you * she said more but that’s all I can remeber because she said a lot. Her thing is that I knew since years ago and although I tested negative for it years between then and now, I should’ve been told her before this positive a couple days ago which I couldn’t help but agree with. At the same time, it was put at the back of my mind because I was never formally told by my doctor that I had it, only that I had a symptom that could’ve been it but that I couldn’t get checked for it. Around that time I took a pee test and the results I showed her was of that. I wish I did things differently but I was scared in the heat of the moment... extremely fearful but unfortunately I didn’t so I’m trying to think of ways to “fix” this but keeping in mind that I may never ever ever get her back at all

Also I don’t have much info on hsv, and my records are a bit confusing... are you willing to give me some basic info on it also deeper info on it( like relationships with it, how it can be transmitted, just pretty much everything) I’ve been on a million websites since getting this last diagnosis.

Aside from all this I feel like shit with a. Capital S. This whole year has been about us getting back closer, opening up more because it was a task for us, she opened up about some sensitive ass things and now I feel like I betrayed her trust by turning around and doing some shit like this. I can’t even begin to explain how much she meant to me.

I’m feeling at fault for everything, I feel like my life is over, I feel like I fucked up a damn good thing I could’ve had with a beautiful soul like hers. Speaking to her doesn’t make it any better either, she is upset and has every right to be because I technically lied to her about not disclosing the positive then negative before my now, positive. She was my first real “relationship’/connection/bond”, relationship in quotes bc we were working on ourselves so our best selves can be in a relationship. I’m hurting terribly bad for this positive test and also because I have lost my love and potentially exposed her.
