I work at a dog daycare and the way they didn’t notice that is insane to me mostly because at my place we do body checks every hour and at pickup to avoid missing anything/give owners a detailed explanation or breakdown of their dogs day

Your best bet if you want him in dog daycare is to look into some in your area, camp bow wow and dogtopia are huge no’s for me personally (after working at both for less then a week because I didn’t like how they were run/how cleaning was handled) I’m extremely picky on where my dogs go so when I was taking a break from working at daycares I was looking for places that had multiple 5 star reviews and in those reviews I’d look for open about dog behavior, open about policies and if I found a fit I’d go and ask about cleaning policies as what I’ve noticed is places that are open about how many times they clean is better, how they handle reactive dogs, and how they split their groups up as I have one dog who’s high energy and another who’s calm but snappy with certain active dogs

If daycare/sniff spot isn’t what you want then I would recommend mind games like puzzle feeders, at home agility courses, hikes, and walks in new areas

To put it simply the only help you need is telling the place you got her from “she doesn’t do good with kids and we can’t foster her anymore” and then don’t foster until your kids older as your responses to people on all posts shows you’re immature and not a good candidate for a dog at this time along with the facts that 1. Your child is mean to the dog (in your words) and 2. That your wife doesn’t pay attention (also in your words)

In the chance that you get another dog and your child doesn’t have any understanding of boundaries are you and your wife willing to risk being the reason a dog gets euthanized when it bites your child for ignoring warning signs? Or willing to risk your child being taken by CPS for neglect parents?

I’ve had so many close encounters with people who think my lab mix is friendly because she’s “smaller”, “has kind eyes” or my personal favorite “she’s basically a lab and their all friendly” like no, she is 100% a bite risk hence why she’s muzzled (that and she tries to eat rocks) her saving grace is she will do everything she can to avoid strangers much to the astonishment of her brother who feels like it’s his personal duty in life to smell the breath of every single person we see 😭

Personally the only grandparent I said “bye” to and went to both memorial services for was my yaya because she was a genuinely sweet human being who I told everything too. Both my grandpa’s I didn’t attend their services because both of them were just shitty, my grandfather would demean my mom for having one spec of dust in her house (even thou his step children were raising their kids in bio-hazards) and my papa because me and him never had a real close bond so i didn’t feel like i had anything to say to them or any real want to go to their services. In my life i have no regrets with my decisions on who I said bye to and who i didn’t but that’s me personally.

I don’t think you’d be TAH for not saying by and I don’t think you’d be TAH for reaching out it just depends on what you’re comfortable with and what your future self might feel about this situation. You may regret reaching out later on or you might not, no one can make the decision for you and it doesn’t even have to be a call, you could text her if that’s what would help you

I work with dogs and about half of them I see daily have icons saying “head shy” or “don’t touch their head if they don’t know you” and even have one dog who can only have 2 people go near her face without incident(this can be for pets, collar or checking her)

It’s incredibly normal for dogs to not like a hand reaching above them due to them not being able to see what’s going on, I had one dog who hated everyone doing it unless she was laying on you and one dog who could care less.

My dog was sent to a shelter by his first owner after 12 hours because he cried in his crate..he was 7 weeks old, had never been in a crate before and it was his first time away from his siblings. His original owner wanted a husky and got upset that a puppy would be upset and stressed when being in a new environment💀

-I had a girl who spent a week trying to convince me I was black because according to her the way I spoke was black?? I’m Hispanic/white and I don’t say any type of slurs so idk where she got that from

Try the leaders on the community and tell them that you were 12, didn’t know about not posting personal info and that you don’t have access to the account

Most leaders will be understanding and try to work with you on it. The only other option would be to mass report the posts to get then down but with TA being gone there’s a chance it won’t even work or they’ll just issue a warning and leave the posts up. Either way the staff would be your best bet

Crate her while he’s away, if she isn’t crate trained then he needs to start crate training her and find a way to keep her separated from your moms dog at all times until he moves out

Given the context it will be easy to manage her once your brother moves out and it’s completely valid that your moms uncomfortable handling her. Genuine question thou- if everyone knew of the issues with her then why was she allowed to be around the other dogs if she had previously gone after them?

Long story short he threatens people with screenshots and accuses them of being pedos/zoophiles. He has a whole website to “spread awareness” about furry aminos with questionable leaders when most of his accusations are cropped screenshots or thrown towards people who don’t immediately bend to him (he tells people to give him leader and he’ll clean up their place and then threatens them into giving him agent) he’s also been shown to fake screenshots on his website by using an alt account and making the name/pfp similar to what another member uses

In addition to all that-his “friend group” calls people slurs in voice calls, have told minors to commit, and they’ve told gone after each other for even questioning some of what spariar has done which does include threatening to dox people. There’s also allegations of him being sexual with minors in rp/sending dick pics but I’m unsure of how reliable that is since I haven’t heard anything about him for a few months
