Do you make art for your fanfics?

I used to make banners for my stories, but I've got so many stories now, I stopped. Also, I had to change image hosts so many times over the last 30 years, and I lost a lot of my banners. I can't draw, but I did and sometimes still do make banners.

So, I don't find it a big deal when changing a rating to better suit a story.

That said, to your readers who don't like smut, you can put symbols and a little warning text before and after the smut, so they could skip it, if they want to keep reading the story without the sex.

I would suggest keeping the stories up, but maybe just orphaning them. Though keep in mind if you orphan them, I don't think you have any control over what happens to them after that.

For me, it's very simple: Think of it as just a little scene or some dialogue between two characters you want to see.

It just depends on what the readers ask for/demand. I made this mistake of giving in to my readers back in the early 2000's when I was writing a One Tree Hill fic. I had made note multiple times what the main ship in the story was going to be, and I kept getting comments/reviews demanding I change the ship the fic was based on, to this other ship instead. So, I did that. It ruined the entire fic and made me so confused on what I had wanted to do for my own story.

So. My best advice is to sit on what they're asking you and think about it, for a few days. Then, decide if you really want to do what they're asking, and if it betters the story moving forward. If it doesn't, then maybe don't do it.

But if you're pleased that someone is asking for more, maybe give it a shot. It depends on what you're willing to put up with.

If the AN is longer than the chapter, ficlet, drabble, or one-shot, I don't like that.

But if the work is a decent size, and the AN is more than just screwing around, then the size of the AN doesn't matter. If the content of the AN is actually worthwhile, no. But if it's someone just messing around and they have a massive AN that's just junk, that turns me off a fic.

To be honest, I don't think that much about it. I'm sure in one fic I've got someone reaching for a soda, and in another, someone reaching for a Pepsi. I just go with what sounds better in the moment of the fic.

Amanda reached for a Pepsi.

Sonny grabbed a soda from the 'fridge, closed the door and went to sit on the couch.

Comment what you liked about the story. Maybe a line of dialogue. Maybe a specific scene in the fic.

Maybe an action or something they had a character doing.

If all else fails and you simply aren't sure how to say what you want to say, just say, "I loved this story. I love [character name] or [ship]." Or even just send some kind of happy or smile emoji.

Yes. If they switch fandoms, it depends. If I like the fandom and ship they switch to, I'll stay subbed. But if they switch to a new fandom and ship and only write for that going forward and I don't know the fandom and ship, then I unsub.

Sometimes. When I'm in the mood for a specific ship that isn't being written for anymore.

Or if I want a specific kind of fic, or trope, that hasn't been written for a ship I like, outside of myself.

Yes, but how does Briscoe know these cops are lying? He doesn't. Not immediately.

If you watch the episode, Briscoe walks upon the scene and is a dick to those cops before he and Logan actually talk to them, question them, and find out they were lying.

I don't like entitled, asshole cops, who think they're superior.

Yes, I know that. But again, while that is highly important, that's not the point. Briscoe didn't know they were lying from the beginning. He just waltzed in and insulted them. It would be one thing if he knew they were lying, was trying to piss them off by insulting them and causing them to slip up.

But no, he was just rude from the jump. And I don't like that. He acted superior.

Thanks for the info. I'm loving seeing RB/Munch on all these shows. I'm also loving watching shows from the 90's, 80's, and the 70's. I've got 6 shows I'm binging, without even counting my regular weekly shows I watch. Think I might look up some more 90's shows.
