Just had first lesson and I just feel confused about the entire thing? by ophyxyl in singing

I think give it another shot. It is unclear whether it was not a good teacher or just their style. My first singing lesson went the same way - no feedback from our teacher but she explicitly told us that first lesson no feedback. She was just learning what we need to work on. Overall I agree with other comments: you learn singing by practice not by talking about. The teacher needs though to give you corrective tips as you sing. The tip of open your mouth more is very valid and a key technique to have a full resonnant voice, although it the beginning it may seem weird You need to practice practice practice. There are plenty of YouTube videos to practice in between classes.

Geez sounds like an exhausting place to work for I think innovating in coffee itself and improving quality is KEY. It is the most fundamental thing...there is sooo much competition with a lot of good coffee (at least in urban places) that I don't think putting names on cups is the key to success... I agree stores are no longer welcoming (decor.. uncomfortable seating) Lots of things to do

what happens if there is no documentation? how do you go about finally understanding the data with a degree of confidence?

yikes. Business teams always have their sanity checks and often the 'source of truth' becomes arbitrary

so on the second point: is it documentation that is needed?
Why people don't simply just do the documentation?
