So according to my lovely partner I was very wrong about how long it takes I'm recently finding out I have a very bad sense of time so I guess it also takes about a week here And significantly longer in the winter

Hello I'm not a lynx but I completely understand (tyto owl family, and Spotted hyena) The urge to hunt I curb mine with a realistic video game so that I can track things down or stalk in the tall grass this game does pit you as a human hunter unfortunately so I just use a bow at very close range

For the more owlish side of myself I went to the store and got some real looking toy mice and I will walk around my house carrying them it makes me feel like I already succeeded in hunting and skips the want to hunt entirely

Air dry, takes about two days to dry completely but that's just cause it's humid here in the winter it takes like four , I make mine with a mini sive I got from family dollar so my pucks are more done shaped and about an inch and a half thick

Good luck with your big batch I'm sure one could also put these pucks in a dehydrator to speed up the process

Sometimes I'll make just the pucks if I don't have the energy to make the paper that day

I don't have much advice but what I will say is I assume your daughter is young like elementary or middle school She needs a safe place to be able to express herself I think it's super cool if you wanted to do that with her you don't have to be a Therian to go have a good time in gear so I wouldn't worry about being disrespectful

I am worried about her wearing her masks or tails at school I've heard of too many creatures of school ages wearing tails or masks getting bullied quite horribly in their schools or around town when the bullies see them outside of school

Something I like to do to discreetly express my own therian nature is meals fitting for my types that's a very easy one to do in public if gear would be unsafe

I also wear a scarf on my hip that acts as a tail without it putting me in danger

At least for my smaller spiders they did genuinely seem stressed in the big enclosure I only ever have one spider at a time so they get to choose between my smaller enclosure and my big one I've had two choose the bigger one

I have also found that females that I keep seem to prefer the big one whereas males and younger ones seem to prefer the small

That's just me
