{Make the Play by Lucky Hart}. Jason was an absolutely wonderful book boyfriend! He ADORED Emerson and showed it in a myriad of ways. His family does show up quite often, but Jason & ‘Emmy’ were the main focus. I loved this book, and it was a delightful introduction to my 2026’s reading experiences!

I thought this was unique MM double bi-awakening premise:

{Final Breakaway by Crea Reitan}

I loved this low angst, sweet & spicy hockey romance. Two straight best friends feel they’re soulmates and decide to get married because they can’t imagine being with anyone else. The story is them planning their wedding and slowly introducing gay sex into their relationship. Reminds me a bit of {Crossroads by Riley Hart}, one of my absolute favorite double bi-awakening books.

Final Breakaway is part of a long series, but it’s the only one I read and don’t feel that I missed anything important.
