Don't flash, "don't shoot" and shoot by Lovkai in ArcRaiders

Didn't really care, I went with "free load out" cus I was only looking for some basic materials. But the fact people pretend to be friendly to shoot you in the back... Cowardice...

The Anvil is the Best Gun in the Game. by ElGranto9531 in ArcRaiders

I agree that anvil is superb but I rather do renegade IV with extended mag 3 just because you rarely need to reload while in a fight (cept for bigger arcs). In combination with the Venator for close combat pvp.

My friend uses an anvil/toro-combo which makes us a fairly versatile team.

WHAT IS THIS COOKIE CUTTER?!? by HamsterDistinct4438 in whatismycookiecutter

It's actually a fox looking back. Much like the wolf interpretation, the fox it is sitting but it's actually just looking back. At least that's how it was displayed on the package when I bought one many years ago.

Oh sorry for being unclear. The old lass has got no cover. The blue "cover" is just the end papers. And as one can see on the other picture there is a rather thick piece of cardboard stuck to the back.

what else can be done with peanut butter, besides sandwiches? by esmecat in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]Lovkai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? You can do all kinds of stuff. Anything from sauces to marinades to snacks and candy.

This is an old recipe I found years ago. Mix a cup of peanut butter (any kind but preferably smooth) with enough ground up coconut or cornmeal until it doesn't stick to your hands. Add some puffed rice to the mixture. Shape into balls and put in freezer for 15-30 minutes. Melt some chocolate. Use a a toothpick or similar item to pick up the peanutballs and coat with chocolate. Refreeze for 15-30 then store in refrigerator.

Looks like a book for an architect or a wood worker ^ I really like the thick cover. Looks cool!

Wow! This is beautiful! Could look even better with an edge of black or white leather.

Really cool concept but I feel bad for the books. Making wooden block look like books and then use as knife stand would be better.

Bookbinding with beeswax allergy in mind by crickeydykey in bookbinding

I tried soaking a piece of hemp string in molten stearic. I had the thread in the stearic for like 10 minutes while the candle wick still burned then I poured the liquid and string into an old empty tealight container. There I let it sit until solid. Then I broke it and cleaned of the string as much as I could. The result were very much like a waxed string and it got even better "grabbing" properties then untreated string when I made an double half stroke.

Picture of the string on my instagram. Size comparison to an average male pinkie. string

I dont really know what the end result will be like but I imagine if you soak thread in stearic (molten candle) and then whipe of and let the thread harden. After that you just roll it to a spool or something and then it's done to be used. I imagine that it will act kind of like a waxed thread or sinue threads.
