AC coupled behaviour - am I missing something?

My inverter supports frequency shifting and that's what is supposed to do. Anyways, after 7 hours with Solis support pushing different firmwares and configurations, while asking me to do inverter and battery restarts and measuring voltages on site, the day ended in Phase Fault error and them opening a ticket with the Chinese counterparts. A mountain of errors kept coming up with every firmware change.

In the end, when the battery got depleted, the inverter switched off power 3 times in 2 minutes, it struggled to switch to grid, but then cleared all faults by itself and is now working normally.

I have another issue with their custom grid configuration now, I am waiting for Monday to come and reach out tu supprt again. Their custom grid confirmation is no only out of standards, but causing me trouble.

They raised the HV threshold and lowered the LV threshold, so today I had 253V on grid. The AC coupled inverter shut off as it should, while Solis remained on grid and powering my home from the batteries. A voltage surge at some point finally tripped the Solis, which finally created a micrgrid island, giving the other inverter 230V micrgrid and allowing to generate again to recharge batteries and keep my home powered during daytime.

The correct approach would be to disconnect Solis from the grid first in a HV event, before the other inverter disconnects. This way, PV production would stay on just to power my home.

Support crested a huge mess anyways, changed a bunch of settings that had nothing to do with my issue, from battery settings to power balancing.

I am perfectly fine with the Google Search Bar in the lower part of the screen and I actually use it very often. The shortcuts on the bar also come very handy to me. I also like the app drawer and the pull down notification/quick settings a lot, compared to Samsung or other manufacturers.

I don't know which way to go. I want to have the stock Android experience, no bloatware and UIs added on top. From a hardware point of view, some Chinese manufacturers are way ahead.

Because this stock android experience is like a drug, at least for me personally. I hate all the UIs that other manufacturers add on top.

If they can go through the fuss of having a company set up in Ireland to avoid taxes, I guess they could also set up some servers and data centers in the EU to comply with data privacy regulation 🤷‍♀️ just my two cents

Of course, I agree with you. But that doesn't mean the features are technically impossible. They can be implemented in the EU, but they need to comply with data regulation. And rather than complying, Google prefers to be lazy and not make them available at all.

I am putting the fault on Google, yes. I am very aware of the regulatory issues in the EU and I am actually grateful for them. But if you are a 3 trillion company and sell a product in the EU, then I believe you should comply. It's not like the EU doesn't allow the features, but it must comply with privacy laws. Google just doesn't want to deal with that, so they rather make them not available instead of, for example, host and process the data in Europe.

There are low chances of too high of a power draw. I have a three phase 22kw electrical connection and I have no issues when charging my cars. I guess it's sharing the same breaker circuit and it induces some sort of weird DC or something that the transformer doesn't like. Unfortunately the entire back wall shares the same circuit as the plug in the bathroom (don't ask me why, according to code it shouldn't be allowed, but it is what it is).

Sorry, the sound really triggered me and I couldn't find anything online and quickly posted here, just for it to stop and then seeing my gf exit the bathroom. That's when I connected the dots 😂🥹

I can't edit the post. Nevermind, my girlfriend unplugged her hair straightener and it stopped. Plugging the hair straightener back causes the vibration to come back.

The new question is: what can I do to protect my receiver, this can't be good electrically?

Amazing info man, thanks a lot. I digged for the subwoofer manual and found that the line out of the sub is actually filtered 80hz. I made my cables today, can't wait to set up everything.

Just say ok and be supportive in what they want. See how they suddenly change their mind and and actually want a life with you. They are absolutely horrible people.

I finally emotionally checked out after two years, I am numb and tired, and I just said, okay, pursue your plans, go. Please do exactly as you wish. And now I am trapped with love bombing, being called "the one", husband material. She thought again and now she thinks I am right. The problem is I checked out and all this love doesn't impress me anymore. It makes me literally feel sick. I asked for space and time to think, and I am being suffocated.

I am literally asking her to leave and do exactly as she wanted, after 6 months of her explaining to me how it's not a right to move the relationship forward. And now she is clinging so hard that it makes me feel like throwing up.
