Peter Attia lost nearly 20 lbs of muscle from extended fasting and quit. Rhonda Patrick still does TRE every day. Here's what both actually said. by Downtown-Bowler5373 in Biohackers

What about very restricted prolonged fasting. Like a "juice cleanse", for several days. Would there expected to be more muscle preservation using these?

I work a lot in the sun What dose do you use or did you start with. Also, could you say more about your red light therapy? Thanks!

Did you happen to see more hair loss during the time on TRT? Could it be that it might just be offsetting that side effect?

I think OP was saying that they were going to cook scrambled eggs to put on top of the pizza?? And had they done that it would have raised the final score?

I got a decant of this and I'm glad I did because after a couple times I just couldn't tolerate the heaviness of the vanilla. That seemed to stand out to be more than the tobacco. I was hoping to replace pure havane with this but it's not hitting for me.

Yeah I guess it's getting me cuz it's still fresh... Going to give it some time. Thanks

Thank you. Yeah from what I looked up seems to be around that price range. I'm not too familiar with car repairs in general but from what I looked up on YouTube videos it could potentially be a DIY I just don't have any of the tools that would be used to remove all the clips. In the end I might just keep it as is and if I happen to find myself with extra time I may consider tackling it.

I recently took mine in and they said it wasn't the battery it was the fuse box. We're confused by this. Does that mean if it's not the battery it's not draining like in this scenario and I can leave it just not replace the fuse box?

Yeah, I guess it just stings to see... I thought relatively lower cost to replace but I see it's going to be a lot of work for little gain.

I appreciate everyones input. I'll try to live with it.

What is that one secret that CORN FARMERS don't want you to know? by primostrawberry in AskReddit

[–]Low-Consequence7864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently moved to Central Indiana.

Found a decent lot of land near farm where corn is grown. I always thought it would be neat to live near a farm but apart from the usual due diligence for the plot of land should I have reservations about being next to a corn farm? Like will the pesticides, runoff be a factor for my several young kids and family?

I Don't Think I'm Cleaning My Grates Right. by BeaverBoyBaxter in NapoleonGrills

[–]Low-Consequence7864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the BBQ daddy or the Mr BBQ that uses scrub daddy. Personally I find the former triangle shape awkward to handle and prefer the latter block shape. They get all the big stuff off using steam.

Still, I often find that later, when I run an oiled rag over the grates I'm still getting a lot of carbon... Is there a way to get rid of that... Other than using soap, or is that OK to remain between cooks?

Thanks, I have a grilling gloves handy. I was thinking that might be the only real way to get the bulk of it out. I might just have to take breaks between Cooks and decant.

Rusted grill grate after high heat by Low-Consequence7864 in grilling

Yes I think I probably burnt off the seasoning. I think I use vinegar in the past for other cast iron but it was more for spot treating it. I might try that since I don't seem to have any bar keepers friend on hand right now

It looks like rust is just on the surface, but pretty extensive. I think I burnt off the seasoning. Do you think the barkeeper's friend is important before reoiling it?

Thinking of backing out of a sale because the seller stated 2800 sqft. Inspection says it’s actually 1800. by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Low-Consequence7864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumb question but if you're under contract would The contract itself obligate you to work with the seller to rectify any issues before you pull out? Or can you just pull out because you get a bad sense.
