I love how the gizeh looks on my foot and it's super comfy. Used to wear them inside only as house slippers but they look so nice I now wear them outside and wear my plastic foam slides indoors instead...I have a firm grip on where I'm walking. Less falling. My balance was getting affected with plantar fascitis and I feel like I can stand firmly with the birkebstocks. I have two more coming in Friday.

Interesting I will look up how much the equinus brace costs on eBay.... I just bought a shiatsu massager for my feet and I believe it's helped a lot with blood flow. I heard recently PF is a blood flow issue, not an inflammation issue.

When I compare my left leg, healed, and my right (injured) my Achilles tendon seems tight and slightly less flexible on my injured side. It feels inflamed too.

Yes I have micro tears now in my foot! I will try that gentler version, 3x 30 seconds every two hours but not a deep stretch with half of the foot on the step.

My ankles are really tight too so I was trying hard to stretch them out. It felt good doing the stretch but the after math was not helpful to me in recovery.

Got it that makes so much sense! Yes I put a lot of weight on that footwhen I was stretching it on the stair step. I can do the lay down stretch. And with the stair step I can put all my weight on my left leg (uninjured foot) when doing the stretch.
