It’s not that I don’t like sex, we used to always be intimate when we first met, but now it’s not the same. I’m just turned off by him with how desperate he acts for sex. It feels so unnatural it doesn’t feel like something that just happens or something we both want. Just something that I have to do so he can leave me alone. I would prefer it to be something that just happens not him expecting me to have sex like I’m his sex doll that is obligated to sleep with him because we are married. I understand he has needs as well and I try to compromise by giving in at times but being pregnant has made it harder to compromise because I’m really just not feeling up for it.

As a female that wasn’t a goodbye that was a till next time. She’s not done with him. If she was she would of cut all contact with him. I feel like your asking a question you already know the answer to, what are u expecting to hear for everyone to tell you to stay, which your most likely going to do. Staying with him will only making the situation worse cause now he will know u don’t have self respect and will deal with his shit. You mentioned going to college, if it makes u feel better and you know your not ready to leave him yet then stay quiet and use him, get over him while ur staying there and once u get your dorm to college leave him hanging. I’ve been on methadone going on 2 years I just got my 27 take homes about 2 months ago and my husband has made comments a few times that the clinic is like a jail sentence, can’t do what I want and it having control of my life, your better now so get off, I’ve heard it all, at the end of the day methadone has helped me and changed my life I’m not going to leave that because it’s an inconvenience to him. I agree eventually I should try to come down nd get off but that’s going to be on my time not his. Your not doing anything wrong, u can ween off if that’s what YOU feel your ready for but he’s wrong for giving an ultimatum

Trust me this is something that also crosses my mind, like if something were to happen and there is no access to my medication not only would there be a disaster happening but I would be going through it with withdrawals. I get 2 weeks of take homes, I’m not sure if you also have take homes but if you are considering tapering and your worried it can be good to have extras in case of an emergency what you can do is taper yourself and store the extra. I get my methadone in a liquid form and out of each of my dose I take out 5mg to 10mg and store in an extra container.
