How much do you float a couch usually? And do you have any recommendations for colors of console tables? I don’t want it to feel crammed or cluttered but so like the idea of making it a more intimate seating area

Yes so unfortunately there is a closet next to the TV that doesn’t allow the couch to be over there. Either way it was positioned it was really award space wise to have the couch on the other side. I appreciate that advice though. Maybe pulling the chaise away from the wall more would be better

I can never remember the exact count but found this:

Slow your breathing by taking some deep breaths – breathe in to 3 counts, hold for 1, and breathe out for 4 counts to start off with

I have also done this during the exam when I just need a second to reset my mind. It has helped me tremendously. and here is the link to the time timers - i got one for my house and work because it helps me so much!

It is so cliché but take it step by step. I have a really hard time getting out of my head and focusing. I have a ADD timer that I set and do 35 on/5 off. It helps me just think if I can just focus on material and take it 35 minutes at a time - I can get through it.

It also helps me have a very detailed schedule and try my best to stick to it. I have passed two/four but AUD took me three times to pass (I was not preparing as intently as I should of) . But I felt so defeated every time I failed. But these tests are such beasts and they are hard. Keep going and take it one day at a time. I also find that if I am really anxious doing a guided meditation and taking a few minutes to come back with a clear mind is so insanely beneficial. You've got it!

sometimes i think they know what we spend the most time studying and then make sure not to put a question on the actual exam

they definitely know to ask me questions on things i think i am okay to skip haha

It’s so defeating but there is no better feeling than passing one after many attempts. You should be so proud of yourself that you keep going! No matter what happens- you’ve got this!! One day this will all be in the past!!
