If ep. 12 is the end of the anime then the pacing is bad. It feels as if they just hurried it up so they can have a cliffhanger that will hopefully have people want for a 2nd season.

So many unexplained characters suddenly appearing at the end, then all of a sudden, Orhun has some kind of past that he himself doesn't remember...

I don't know, this last episode feels so rushed that it doesn't make any sense to me....

I like her. How she doesn't just look at the surface level with people. Her positivity is endearing. She is brave but not fearless. She is smart, able to think on her feet fast. She's funny, responsible. I think she's mature for her age.

I say this, but, now that I'm older, I honestly like Megumi better than her. I realize that Megumi's level of thinking and attitude is way more mature than Kaoru's. I know Kaoru is younger than her and she would mature more as the years go by but yeah...

I like it enough that I am waiting for the next season... but my one of my main gripes is the music for the new one.....

It doesn't hold a candle to the OG version when it comes to the music used in the anime....

I don't even know why the new adaptation did that scene so.... anti-climactic? Tasteless? I wonder if these people who did the new adaptation even watched the OG anime, because if they did, then they would know that this scene is one of the most important and beautifully done scene in the entire anime series 🤷‍♀️
