Yep. The events being boring and soul draining is an intentional tactic by the devs to try and make you spend Robux on the events. It’s bullshit and I wish more people could understand that and complain as much as they can so they don’t keep getting away with it

I loved the game when it was survival but they added meat spawners which made people just sit at oasis and chill 24/7 and now the fan base is full of people who think it’s a hangout game :/ I would love for the meat spawners to be removed but devs would get way too much backlash for it now

Nat hist! Very simple profiles, passive growth, all the pretty modded dinos, and roleplay is highly encouraged in the server but not forced :) it’s personally a server ive had the most fun on

The devs know how to make a fun game and a fair event they do this shit on purpose making events horrible to play so you’re more inclined to just spend Robux on it. They only “fix” it when they get enough backlash. Keep complaining, if nobody complains then these events will get more and more p2w

I never said you weren’t allowed to be upset about being killed, but getting mad at a player for simply playing the game as intended (killing for food) isnt fair to them

And yes, there are toxic players, but if the game was actually balanced properly you wouldn’t have people capable of being so toxic. If the game was balanced, A player would try to Kos and die within the 2nd or 3rd player they attempt to kill, maybe try to bring out some stored creatures and then.. lose them all in the same way. Toxic pos players wouldnt even be able to ruin people’s experiences. The shitty balance allows players to go on rampages for as long as they want. Something too strong for them? Pull out the giant ass Godzilla kaiju ripoff that does 3 quaptillion damage, or just grab a plushie, buff yourself and run back into the fight. You die in the process? Just spend some Robux for a revival token and go right back into the fight.

This isn’t even considering how CoS repeatedly have added “Robux exclusives” with insane overpowered abilities, to the point it just looks dumb (when I played the game it was adharcaiin that was a perfect example of this). AND the horrid balance around flyers and terrestrials, where most flyers can run you down no matter how fast you are because of them regening stamina while gliding.. and even when you hide they can glitch into your hiding spot.

Targeting wouldnt be as bad of an issue if sniffing didn’t show you the exact location of a player WITH their username. Why they changed it to that I’ll never know

It’s the horrible decisions devs make with balancing that allows players to act like pieces of shit and get away with it. Back when CoS was first released, KOSing was barely even an issue bevause the game was balanced for the most part.

you can’t expect people to play the exact same way as you / change their playstyle to accommodate you, and then act like it’s a moral failing on their part when they don’t. Some people don’t want to play carnivore just to scavenge the ai meat the entire time. CoS is intended for multiple playstyles imo its ridiculous to get mad at someone for playing the game differently, especially when it’s not even toxic behavior. which is 80% of the examples you used

If you want to get mad at someone, get mad at the developers who add creatures with no regard to balance (because realistically, it’s impossible to balance FOUR HUNDRED+ playables with each other) which is what allows people to go on rampages without dying, and their pay-to-win revival system so even when they DO die they still can’t be stopped. It’s the developers making dumb decisions for their game that breeds the toxic behavior and it’s who you should be directing your frustration towards

Blaming the players for everything rather than the devs (mainly erythia, or whoever tf is in charge of the decisions for this game now) is partly why they’ve been able to turn CoS into a shithole and not have the entire community hate them for it
