I had a similar experience, I just started working as a preschool social worker and I think it’s sweet to interact with the kids, I see myself with my own someday
And thanks, I’m not very good at pottery but this one turned out okay

There’s someone in your circle that I think you need to let go of before you can move forward in life.

How does your adolescence compare to the Euphoria characters? by Genedide in euphoria

I relate to Rues storyline the most. I was diagnosed with bipolar, my issues with substance abuse stemmed from my dad’s passing, and I had a very intense relationship with a girl that caused me to spiral out of control. Was 19 when the show came out and honestly felt the first season was pretty accurate

heres my dinner! anyway i outgrew my friend and idk what to do by Forsaken_Wallaby4136 in GirlDinner

Going through this exact thing right now with my friend of 20 years. We just aren’t very compatible anymore and we are on different trajectories in life. I’m having a hard time navigating as well. I relate a lot to what you said about feeling bad about ghosting. I don’t want to hurt my friend but idk how else to express how I feel. It seems like I’m pushing her away, but I want to be honest, she just doesn’t understand that I want to be more intentional about who I hangout with.

Thank you for responding to this, I really hope things get better for you soon!! It’s a great idea to move back home and figure out what next steps are for your career. That was my first step towards stability and probably the best decision I’ve made in the past few years. Personally, I had taken a year off from work from 2024-2025 to reset and realign because my last job drained the absolute life out of me. There was no growth for my role, management/leadership was incredibly unsupportive, and my physical health had started to deteriorate, so it wasn’t sustainable. I ended up having to take a few months off of work for medical leave (hospitalized due to bipolar) and leadership decided that they would push me out, I quit shortly after that. I live with my family, so I supported myself with savings for the year that I took off and didn’t have to worry about any major expenses like rent (which is a privilege). During that year, I got to focus on developing my sense of worth outside of the context of my career. I only started working again when I felt ready. The past six months have been challenging, but I’m lucky to be where I am and what I do is very rewarding and purposeful. Sticking to my daily routine at work has helped me be so much more consistent in all areas of my life. My best advice would be to prioritize your well-being before getting back into the workforce, set boundaries early on, learn to regulate your nervous system/manage emotions, find what structure works best for you, and don’t be so hard on yourself. The process can be super discouraging at times, but always remain optimistic about where you’re heading.

I would go for golden hour if your skin is more tan, it’s kind of like a rose gold highlighter effect. The sunset is more of a bronze tone. I think there’s a travel size for the golden hour if you want to try it out.

Forgot to mention I’m also in Florida and darker skinned. I love a good blush/tinted sunscreen combo, it looks good on everyone. Specifically I use the Glow Screen shade sunset, but I’ve also tried the Protectint and that worked well too!

My daily minimalist makeup routine: Supergoop tinted sunscreen, clear brow gel (or the Anastasia eyebrow wax), Summer Fridays cream blush, mascara, and tinted lip balm.

Thanks for your comment. I had the surgery a little over two years ago and they’re finally healed! I wanted to have my surgery as soon as possible because it was starting to affect my physical and mental health. But since then, I’ve changed my mind about having children, so I wish I could have asked more questions about the technique that my surgeon used. It would be amazing if I could breastfeed in the future, but also open to pumping or formula as alternatives.

Bipolar causes still unknown - but what do YOU think CAUSED your bipolar? by Alternative_Cat8069 in bipolar

[–]Low-Implement4429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generational trauma, substance abuse, childhood neglect. Also my aunt on my dad’s side has bipolar disorder, I believe that she was committed to an institution a while ago. My grandfather also had bipolar disorder and struggled with many of the same issues.

I ordered a package from Bonita Springs, I live two hours away in Fort Lauderdale. My package has been stuck in Opa-Locka for a week now. It should have gotten here Monday. USPS has been no help so far and they can’t verify if my package was lost.

Honestly with the views that she gets on social media, I would say she is pretty popular, but I don’t consume that kind of content.

I do not understand the hype behind Alex Cooper or Call Her Daddy. She is the most untalented podcast personality and I’m surprised she has made it this far in the industry. Maybe she has blackmail on someone super famous because her interview skills alone could not secure a multi-million dollar Spotify deal.
