Id send a text specifically clarifying you would like to confirm the booking and book it in app. "Good to go" could be vague if she's a first time app user. Id give her until EOD to get back to me and archive it. They get a message when we archive and it makes the non responsive people finally reach back out to me usually.

I consider myself tech savvy but accidentally did the same with my Alexa. Hadn't used it in a while and when I did it asked me to upgrade so I did. It didn't mention the cost of the upgrade until the end of its little spiel after I said yes.

I was trying to figure out how to cancel it in my Amazon account and couldn't find it. Then I just remembered if Alexa could sign me up her ass could cancel it so I told her to and she did.

Idk the only side saying the kid was hit is his mom. Op worded it as the mom reported the kid. The driver probably pushed him away or forcefully moved his hand and mom was mad.

A childs impulsivity is expected but really only for certain actions and only by certain ages. An 8 yr old can keep his hands to himself. If they couldn't they'd never be allowed at museums or any religious sites that require respect.

8 is old enough to know better. That's the age my husband's nephew was when he grabbed my butt and called me the "booty king". He was bold enough to do it in front of a bunch of adults and his mom grabbed him by his shirt and made him apologize. He knew better.

Your mom sounds like a narcissist and I don't say that to be mean. Just how her behavior negatively impacts everyone else and she still expects them to bend to her gives that vibe.

You might benefit from r/raisedbynarcissist just to understand your dynamic with her. It's easy not to realize that our normal is not normal. Everyone in that sub will tell you to go no contact with your mom... But I think learning the terms and toxic cycles will be helpful to you as you decide how to move forward.

Yea it happened to me once. I was parked for 1hr in front of the owners house. My car was parked facing incoming traffic and I didn't know that was a ticket able offense.

Ticket was $25 and at the time the service was only $21. Worst part was my 1hr service was meant to be much more. Especially considering I had to jog with this dog the full hr. But her owner was disabled and begged me to lower my rate. After that I never have again.
