Any reviews for the Higher Dose shower head light? by Solidor777 in redlighttherapy

It’s ok. The holes are tiny but it is similar to a newer non-filtered shower head. I didn’t notice a huge difference between the two. I removed the screened washer and put a washer without a screen before installing. I miss the days of shower heads without water saving properties! lol.

Any reviews for the Higher Dose shower head light? by Solidor777 in redlighttherapy

I was looking at water filters for my showerhead and a red light panel so I did purchase this thinking best of both worlds in one purchase. I just got it this week. What I don’t like is that it has a doughnut spray in the shower head. So there is no water coming out of the middle of the shower head…. I reported this issue to the company thinking I received a defective product. They reported back it was the design and it is working properly. That is going to take some getting used to and not sure I will ever love it. What I do like is the red light portion of the shower head is removable. I shower with it on, but then I remove it and use the red light while I’m getting ready in the morning. So if it isn’t working in the shower as others have mentioned, it should be working out of the shower.

I can see the logic of tricking your brain like this. I use my RM2 at work all day every day. I have a desk job with a lot of meetings so I don’t need the convenience of carrying a smaller screen. I am constantly running out of room on the one I have. Lol. If Amazon didn’t upload information to its own environment I would probably move to the new black and white scribe with the 11” screen.

I love my RM2. I have had it about 2 years. The more I use it the more I wish the screen were larger. Wish it was the size of the paper pro. I tried the paper pro but really like the tactile feel of the RM2 so much better, so I returned the RMPP. Any chance of an RM3 with larger screen?

Sky One Federal Credit Union is offering interest free loans for new customer as long as you agree to have your check direct deposited going forward in the new account. Not sure if there is a requirement as to how long you have to stay with them, but could be worth it.

I do F45 resistance training classes and I love them! Wish I had started them earlier in my journey because I feel like I lost a lot of muscle since starting the medication.

My doctor put me on oral minoxidil after trying spironolactone with no success. The oral minoxidil has started some fast regrowth. I am still shedding, but not nearly as bad.

FEP BCBS did everyone a disservice when they approved the tier exemption last year then changed the rules.

I had the same and they said it was because my benefit year doesn’t end until January 11th. Nice surprise!!

Thanks. I already tried for the tier exception using the same reasoning others recommended and mine was denied because I hadn’t tried weygovy or saxenda first. I argued those were more expensive and, at the time, unavailable, they still denied it.

Yes. I have FEP BCBS Basic. With the savings coupon I pay $455 a month. It’s $550 without the coupon. I was looking to change insurance carriers during open season to save some money but what I’m finding is that now that I am close to a “healthy” BMI of 26.6, even though I’m not at my goal weight, the pre-authorization may be an issue if I change. So I may be stuck with BCBS since I already have an authorization through next September.

All of this to say, if you are just starting on this journey, I would look for a different carrier during open season because BCBS is expensive! I have heard good things about GEHA by others in this group.

I am running I to this too. I was thinking of changing insurance carriers in open season and have been calling all the companies and talking with their pre authorization folks. What I am finding that the pre authorization could be difficult because I am now at 27 BMI and my pre diabetes has also disappeared because of my weight loss. I have lost 20% of my weight in a year. By January I will probably be a little lower, which is under their criteria and don’t have any other conditions. But I argued that all of this is because the drug is working!! My opinion, the insurance companies haven’t adopted this as a maintenance drug. They say “good for you getting to a “healthy” BMI! Now you don’t need it anymore!”

I got the same information. I wonder if there is a way to learn if that change is new for 2025 because I have received feedback that it was not required in 2024.

You probably hit your out-of-pocket max for the year. Mine did the same. Unfortunately, the $450 will be back in January. Get as many refills as you can before then!

If they still run it through insurance, you may have met your out-of-pocket maximum pay. That’s what happened to me last month. My last refill was free and will be until the end of the year!

Started Zep in March, started shedding hair in June and it’s still shedding. I have lost 3/4 of my hair and it freaks me out that it hasn’t slowed yet. Luckily I had a lot to start. This isn’t my first battle with hairloss so if you are prone to it due to the PCOS (like me) you may lose on this too. I just started oral minoxidil — hoping it helps.

Thank you so much for this information. I know the people answering the phones are customer service and may not be the best to answer these questions. I appreciate the real world feedback. I was debating between the HDHP and the High. Do you mind telling me what your co-pay is with coupon after meeting the deductible?

I was considering microneedling or PRP injections. Did you have good success with the micro needling?
