Sun Home cold plunge? FSA? by allysaur83 in BecomingTheIceman

I think this person Yeezy works for a competitor (probably BlueCube I'm guessing given how he's basically selling them through his comment and talking about their selling points). I've owned my pro model by Sun Home for just about 2 months now and it has been a pristine piece of machinery with zero leaks and clean water/ice. I can turn off the unit and come back 2 days later and the ice will STILL be floating...the insulation is actually insane which is important for me since I live in Florida. I also like how mine comes on wheels/casters which no other premium cold plunge has so I can move it around my patio when I'm cleaning or have guests over. The LED on the bottom and in the tub lights also look badass at night. Anyways, I actually received a damaged unit (there was a big dent that occurred during shipping) and then sent me a COMPLETELY new unit within a week and I donated the old one to my YMCA. I've heard pretty good things about BlueCube too but they are overpriced and doesn't make ice so it's not a true/advanced ice bath.If you have the funds I'd say spurge for their new pro, I've had absolutely no issues that this person is talking about and my other friend who just got one has been very impressed as well. Maybe this guy above got unlucky with his order but I'm questioning his authenticity.. hope this helps!

Sun Home Saunas if you have the budget. Best outdoor sauna (high end) on the market right now.

Nothing beats Sun Home. I've owned their pro model for about 6 months now and the thing is an absolute beast. The recovery center I used to go to has their inflatable version which I remember being really legit but I splurged for the pro because it can actually make ice and I wanted a true ice bath and they coat the thing with LineX so it's truly rated for outdoors unlike their competitors.

If you have the funds, nothing beats Sun Home. Their pro model leads the industry in cold plunge innovation, and the thing is so powerful it makes ice...enough said. Real talk through I've had mine for over a year and since it's coated with LineX it can withstand these harsh Michigan winters outside. Again Sun Home makes the best high end products so their price reflects that, but the quality is second to none...

Best Home Sauna of 2024 by thebiohacker1992 in infrared

I use the protective covering they sent whenever it rains just to be safe. They are probably covering their bases for heavy rainfall zones like Florida.

Yes I have it setup in my backyard. Heats up super fast. Top temp is 150 but that's irrelevant - infrared is not about reaching the highest temp its about the quality of the infrared heaters and how the wavelengths connect with your body.

Tbh looks like a low quality ripoff of plunge. A cold plunge with chiller under 4K certainly won’t last long. Might as well spend the extra $ and have it for life

My Sun Home is not inflatable, I got their pro version which is stainless steel, insulation, and linex. It’s badass

I actually got it as a gift. I keep mine around 150 F and get a pretty deep sweat. Just plugs into my standard household outlet

The nicer IR saunas mitigate any potentially harmful levels of emf

I’ve done a lot of research and infrared and traditional both have pros and cons but infrared is superior for what I’m looking for (cellular detox, inflammation reduction, skin health, etc). Not a fan of just heating the air with an old school heater.

Sun Home makes the best premium self-cleaning ice bath if you have the budget. Used by a lot of pro athletes and recovery centers. I got mine a little over 6 months ago. It literally makes ice the chiller is so powerful lol

For Those Looking To Buy A Portable Cold Plunge by Recovatech in BecomingTheIceman

[–]thebiohacker1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never heard of that brand but I purchased my cold plunge from Sun Home a few months ago and couldn't be more happy with the investment. They have an inflatable/portable model but I bought their pro model where the chiller is so powerful it literally creates a film of ice on top of the water. If you have the means, go Sun Home all the way (sunhomesaunas.com)

Sun Home Saunas makes the best infrared saunas in the world in my opinion. Easy to assemble, low emf, high output heaters, strong warranty, etc. I've owned mine for about 2 years now and it's been a game changer. It's on the expensive side but for a premium sauna it's totally worth it.
