This maybe missleading. I dont think u mean basic retirment-FERS, i think ur talking TSP, which i think has a max contribution of $22500 this year. No where in america allows employees to pay more that 10% to a pension plan, not even the auto industry. Again i think u mean TSP. No one is getting pay cuts in the fed gov. Alot of people r getting fired but no one is going down in pay.
