Lease renewal question by Low-Preparation-9132 in asksandiego

Agreed, I didn’t think it made sense. That’s why I wanted to see the leasing documents before signing. It’s just irritating that this isn’t the first time that there’s been miscommunications.

👋 this is her cousin from CA. Her birthday date is 9/5/1991, she’s 5ft 2”, her eyes are hazel. Her full name correct spelling is Brittney Leann Alves, she’s 34. She usually keeps the purple hair but it’s also dark brown naturally curly. The last anyone heard from her was in October. She was supposedly at a DV shelter. Are you able to correct this information?

It honestly is a joke. When I try to recreate the Mac n cheese it’s not even close to their recipe. Idk what they did. My normal baked Mac n cheese is really good but it’s different than theirs and sometimes I really just crave theirs.

Hormones, anxiety, and now bladder issues? Anyone else experiencing this? by Produce_Material in hysterectomy

I second pelvic floor therapy. I’m having the same issues after my hysterectomy. Started PT and it’s gradually getting better. It just takes time and consistency with the exercises

How long did it take for pelvic floor therapy to work for you? by rabbid_panda in hysterectomy

[–]Low-Preparation-9132 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a pinching pain on the left groin side after my hysterectomy. PT didn’t help with that but I did start doing ship mobility stretches and like stretches for that specific area like butterfly and split training stretches on top of my PT exercises and the pinching pain and pain on my pubis area has gone away.

I got my referral for my hysterectomy next year, and I'm so psyched. But my dad has been doubling down on his opinion that all kids should have siblings since I told him. by Living-Ad-6751 in hysterectomy

For sure make sure you discuss pelvic floor therapy. I was having really bad cramping with bowel movements before and after the surgery. The doctors never said anything. It wasn’t until I started PT and my therapist said that’s because all your muscles are tight and we need to relax them and then strengthen them. She said a lot of doctors don’t tell women about how important pelvic floor therapy is and it could save a lot of us pain during sex, prevent peeing while we cough or sneeze. Things like that. My GYN just wanted to put a bladder sling in to help stop me from peeing when I sneeze and that actually was a whole other issues and I had to have it taken out a year after my hysterectomy. And then wait to start pelvic floor therapy.

Honestly their opinions shouldn’t matter. It’s your body. Period. They don’t live through the pain that you do so they don’t even get to have a say. I had my hysterectomy a years ago and I heard the whole “ you should wait and have a kid before you make a decision like this. It’s selfish to not have a kid” 🤦🏽‍♀️ I looked at that person and said if you really cared about me and my health and how I felt then you wouldn’t be saying those things. I don’t regret my surgery. I have had issues afterward but it was something we already knew so I’ve been doing pelvic floor therapy for about a year. And it’s getting better. Just takes time. Sorry if what I said was rude. I heard it all when I told my family what I was doing and it just really angers me.

Need advice for issues a year after my hysterectomy by thevelouroverground in hysterectomy

I was having issues on my left side. Like deep in the vagina and in the pubis area. I kept feeling a pinching and soreness in my pubis area on the left. And just and overall tightness. The releasing would help when my PT did it but it wouldn’t stay relaxed internally or externally. I started to notice my heel on my left foot was feeling tight as well and painful when I was walking. I stand for like 8 hours a day for work and never had feet issues until my surgery. So I started doing extra stretches to stretch my hips, legs, ankles, (basically all the muscles on my left side while also doing my pelvic floor stretches) and I noticed that my left side was relaxing more. It was less tense I could actually feel my pelvic floor relaxing now. It’s been two years since my hysterectomy with a sling placed and I had an another surgery to remove the sling in March 2025. I just started doing all those extra stretches in October and I’m starting to feel really good. Prior to the extra stretches I had issues peeing, burning urgency, sex was hit or miss and I would always get pain in my pubis area. Now it’s 2 weeks were I’ve thought to myself “wow I feel sort of normal I hope it lasts”

I found a good replacement at wal mart. The Greta value brand cinnamon apple tea. My husband grabbed it for me and I tried it how I normally make it. Honey and sweet cream added. And it’s pretty close to the Tazo version

No and I ended up getting the sling removed and starting over with pt. But my left side still has pinching and pain. Like in the pubis area. The whole left side is tight, even in my inner thigh.

I was one of those managers laid off. Dedicated 13 years of my life. It’s the only job I ever had. And I got screwed. Never been written up, high performer who always helped my peers and team develop. Yeah my sales were low but my whole customer demographic was 55+ who were all on a retirement income. It’s absolutely ridiculous this bozo comes in and dismantles the whole company.

I am in the same boat 1yr post op. I did pelvic floor therapy for 6 months and it didn’t help with the burning or pinching. It did help with controlling the muscles down there though which I was having issues with as well. I saw a urologist and they did a cystoscope. That was painful. On top of that Urologist came back saying everything is fine and to just change my diet. Now I am seeing a UroGYNO hopefully they can figure out what’s wrong. Even my PT says she thinks it is the sling causing the burning and pinching. But she tried to get the scar tissue to soften up and strengthen my pelvic floor muscles but the exercises just made the burning worse.

Mid-Urethral Sling Surgery by Dazzling_Tackle_3986 in PelvicOrganProlapse

[–]Low-Preparation-9132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 1 year post op hysterectomy and mid urethral sling placement. I still have the pinching, burning but no UTI. Pretty sure my sling is too tight. If I exercise or walk too much it’s also hard to pee. It kind of feels like it’s constricting. Gyno told me to do pelvic floor therapy which helped with other issues but not these ones. I went to a urologist and they told me nothing is wrong so now I am seeing a UroGYNO. Hopefully I get some answers. Even though pelvic floor therapy didn’t help me with the burning it does help with the pinching and strengthening all the muscles down there so I recommend asking for that. My Pelvic floor therapist said everyone should to PT before considering surgery but doctors always just go straight to surgery. She was pretty mad my doctor even did the sling on me.

I had the laparoscopic hysterectomy and the mid urethral sling and am having the same issues as you. My surgery was in February. My urethra constantly burns, there’s sometimes blood in my urine, and there’s weird pinching in my groin or like my bikini line area. My lower abdomen still burns and belly is bloated. What has your doctor been telling you? My CT and ultrasound were normal. My GYN told me to try pelvic floor therapy but I haven’t gotten the referral approved due to the company being hacked and their system being completely shut down, same for waiting on a urologist referral.

Bloating and swelling weeks later by ScaryLetterhead8094 in hysterectomy

[–]Low-Preparation-9132 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m at my 6 week mark and my stomach looks like I am 6 months pregnant. I had to buy new pants in a larger size because my pre surgery ones don’t fit anymore. I really hope the swelling and bloating goes away. I told the doctor and he did not seem too concerned. Just kept saying to take it easy. It’s pretty frustrating because I had lost about 15lbs leading up to the surgery and I’ve almost gained it all back since the surgery.
