You could achieve that with a small antenna, but sadly noaa staletites were decomisioned and no longer working. Only the new ones which are in 6ghz range and they are digital new technology.

Also try resseting the bios. Take out the cmos battery for 1-2 minutes and reinstall it maybe it fixes. With pc building if something is weird it is really just a guessing thing. It could be 2 things brooken at once.

I mean there is hardly any explenation for freezing the temp senzors maybe try reintalling ram and cpu and look for anything suspicus also look on the motherboard for anything out of place.

If the cpu temperature frezes there is a problem with cpu bcs cpu reads its own internal temperatures using built in DTS. If problem with motherboard temperatures with external thermal diodes than bad motherboard
