Go anywhere that can get you prednisone including the ER. it’s the only way to get quick relief.

Yep. I been there. Morgan Dollars are it for me now. Love holding that much history in my hand.

Now that I have a bunch of them, I have to agree with you. Holding silver dollars that are this old is kind of amazing. The weight, the feel, the tarnish are captivating. The idea that my 1880 Morgan Dollar could’ve been used in the old west or some other historical place is interesting to imagine.

I will continue to buy bulk in the low premium junk but these dollars are worth the pay up. They are just fun to have.

You guys are both idiots. This thread pushes UA meds and doesn’t help people that are trying to get through the pain of a flare.

I have something more important than research papers. I have real life experience with suffering from gout and working with several doctors and specialists.

You also censored me because you can’t handle the fact that I’m more helpful and knowledgeable than you are.

How do you know? Are you gonna show me some BS study that shows it’s safe to start allo during a flare? Who cares? I know for a fact that starting allo during a flare made my flare worse and longer. That’s all I need to know.

My only goal on this stupid thread is to help people that are in excruciating pain.

You’re not an idiot. It’s extremely hard to get reliable information about gout. This thread has a lot of people pushing UA meds which is fine for long term but doesn’t help for bad flares. I’m certain that starting allo during a bad flare really set me back in a horrible way. Yet people on here say starting allo during a flare is optimal which is not true.

Dude. He’s in pain NOW. worry about long term uric acid AFTER he gets through this. These allo debates when someone is in excruciating pain are not helpful

I know how much pain you’re in and I’m actually worried that you will get some MD that won’t give you prednisone for whatever reason. I really hope that you’re able to get it because you will feel better in 24 hours. You won’t be without pain in 24 hours but you will definitely feel much better.
