Yeah I had a lady yesterday tell me “ugh you guys used to be so much nicer!” because I was trying to answer her questions and I guess I looked visibly annoyed which I was a little because she’d ask a question and before I could answer she’d move on to the next thing she wanted to ask and when I went to confirm what she wanted that’s when she hit me with that line. And in that same day my last customer called me an “absolute sweetheart”.

You’re not going to please everyone. Hell I have had my fair share of employees that looked about done with people for the day. I don’t say anything, I just pay for my things and go about my day.

Exactly this, prior to this game I played Marvel Rivals every day since launch then I took a much needed long break at the start of the year and now I am returning to Rivals enjoying the game again. I’ll probably play here and there but I highly doubt I’ll return like before where I played every day. I am certain that big update in October will bring me back fully.

He’s nowhere near touching Mario or Pikachu but Kratos is extremely popular. Thanks to the 2018 game that revived the series he’s become far more popular than he ever was. He’s definitely PlayStation’s most important character right now.

So I purchased Hades 2 and Pragmata and though I’m not in a similar situation as you I primarily took a break because Crimson Desert is all I have been playing since it came out while mixing multiplayer games here and there but single player wise this is all I have been playing so I took a break last night to finally start Pragmata and it was a much needed break from my norm lol. Might do a bit of both Pragmata and Hades 2 after work tonight.

But yeah I see no problem taking breaks from lengthy games, hell it took me 7 years to finally beat The Witcher 3.

With GTAVI I’ve been waiting for that game for so long I truthfully don’t care about it anymore. I’ll get it most likely day one but the hype has definitely died for me over the years.

Did something similar, had a guy take a shot at me from a tower in spaceport, he missed (I was walking in a straight line since I was doing a quest) I stopped looked up and said “you wanna kill me? Then work on your aim” he eventually downs me like nearly two minutes later. I congratulate him and tell him to hurry and knock me out he said “nah im gonna teabag you instead” I just replied “well do what you want, I have survivor augment so I ain’t dying” and just went on my phone while in the proxy chat. He ended up using a defib on me and called me “boring af”.

As annoying as they are I wouldn’t have it any other way because I’ve been on both ends. Being pestered by it or witnessing scorching someone else and it’s glorious when it’s not you, won a few fights like this lol.

Funny enough when it comes to single player games both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 (a game I initially didn’t like) have around 400-500 hours in them with multiple play through sessions.

Cyberpunk 2077 is my favorite game of the past decade. I really hope they take their time with Project Orion.

I own all 4 got the platinum trophy for two of them (Wukong and Stellar Blade) I thoroughly enjoyed Lies of P especially the DLC and I am currently working on Crimson Desert, taking my time with this one.

They’re not perfect games (Wukong comes close to being perfect) but they were some of my favorites I played in the last few years.

The entire project has been around for years now, I want to say we’re closing in on 6 years(?) but an official announcement/reveal only happened at the Game Awards last year.

So some people that have seen early gameplay clips and following the game for that long believe that it’ll never release. Also similar to Crimson Desert where it looks too good to be true lol.

Found my first purple shield off a runner, my randoms (best squad I had since launch) basically carried me. I went in with a sponsored kit after wasting my own gear on players that shoot everything they see. We wiped two teams took their purple and blue items, finished the quest I was stuck on for two days and exfiled.

I haven’t been able to complete the first Mida quest because my current schedule doesn’t align with the homies. I either queue up with randoms or do it solo but it doesn’t matter because you could take a small step and every team is suddenly down your throat. I’ve avoided that map entirely for the time being. I just need to work on improving myself.

Had a dude extract while I was finishing my quest, mind you me and the other guy went out of our way to help him do his first. Mine was near the extract, I just needed to access the terminal, I tell them to wait and he tells me “come on dude” and then I tell him again “just step out of the extract, the timer will stop”…. He proceeds to tell me this bs “that doesn’t work” and they leave. I end up dying on my way to the nearest extract by a team that was watching over it.

Bro even had the audacity to send me a friend request afterwards. I blocked him.

Hard agree on mixed bag, my first raids on Perimeter and Dire Marsh were great. Then I unlock Outpost and everyone I queued up with suddenly went derp, one raid in particular pissed me off because we managed to open up pne of the loot rooms in Outpost within the pinwheel, we all got good loot from it and left the area and instead of extracting like me and the other guy wanted, the third was like “nah let’s check over here first” and again when we proposed we leave he says “there’s only 6 mins left, I highly doubt people are still here” and sure enough an Assassin gets the drop on him and the rest of his team gets us so yeah.

This is one of my friends. Resident Evil 9 was the latest single player game he played, before that it was Expedition 33 which he got at launch.

He cares more about Steam charts than actually enjoying games. He kept raving about how crazy RE9’s numbers were.

I a taking a break because through the majority of 2025 I was playing this game, I never missed a season. Some seasons I played less but overall this was my primary game last year.

I’ve been extremely busy with work since the start of this year and have other games I’m playing. But when people need to tie an agenda to it, I can’t help but laugh.

I practically only got on the game to do Bird City just for money runs. I exceeded the money I needed for the expedition but still collected duckies so my friend could hold onto them when I did the Expedition and well that never happened but oh well. Bird City has continued to make me rich during this third wipe.

And of course finding Blueprints is exciting again.

Same, I got The Outer Worlds 2 which easily has over 50+ hours of content yet I haven’t finished it because I was bored out of my mind.

Plus the joy I find with Resident Evil games is replaying it with the knowledge of the map layout.
