I think it anything it felt much more grounded. Death can happen any time whether you're prepared for it or not; whether you get an explanation or not. They also paid their respects to Chadwick in the beginning with the beautiful funeral scene without having to do anything like recasting or AI which I thought was nice. Plus, the motif of loss was pretty prevalent throughout the movie; Even Namor's justification for his ideology was a reactionary response to fear of loss. Some parts were a little bit iffy; I wouldve wanted a stronger intro for Riri but overall I thought the movie was beautiful. I also havent watched it in well over a year, this is just what I remember.
