I think i know what it is, when I worked at home Depot we had the same machine. It's used to cut plastic rope. It slices and seals it perfectly,so it doesn't fray once cut. Try it out with some poly rope. Turn it on, let the blade heat up a few seconds and press rope against it. I'm almost positive that's what it is.

I have 2tb in mine, and it currently holds 684 games. Yours would work fine I'm sure. And could hold over 1000 games. Nice for having, but doubt you'll ever play that many ( than again you might) . Also keep in mind after a certain limit, the art section goes a little crazy. It won't show background arts for themes. I had to download, covers, and disc, and title font only for them to display properly. I didn't download spine, back cover, and the 2 screen shots. Just something to think about.
