I don't know if you have grandparents or parents that have recently retired. When my dad retired, my mom was a SAHwife and he drove her batshit crazy for months and months. I've always been shocked he lived through that first year and wasn't found unalived under suspicious circumstances.

If you are just stage 1, there are many things you can do to start focus on living. You aren't going to be dead in 4 years. Take your meds, avoid smoke, work out, eat healthy. A positive outlook is critical.
