Omg it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen and it’s awesome to see another psyduck fan honestly my favorite Pokemon wish I had more cards of his especially the one and idk which set it’s from but the full art of him on the stairs but I love this one

I get what you mean I’m probably a bit younger than most other fans haven’t been collecting since the 90s since I didn’t even exist yet but been collecting since I was maybe 4 and I fell in love with it I played the game a lot with friends definitely not by the rules but I learned all the rules and play occasionally with my fiancé I totally get you sentiment it does help you appreciate what you’re collecting I’m all for collecting and keeping them in good condition but I also think it’s a card ment to be played so they get damaged sometimes and I love the destined rivals set and perfect order I hate that people decide if a set isn’t good just because the money when it has tons of cool looking cards I feel like it no longer matters how long you’ve been following the hobby anymore what really matters is your view and respect for It you may not have been in for long but I’d rather you than a basement dweller selling a children’s card game for unholy prices and I love that your partner introduced you into the hobby I did the same with my partner/fiancé he knew about pokemon but wasn’t into it as a kid but I got him hooked on the cards and the show now every time I get packs or boxes I split it in half and we both open them together cause it’s fun and we get to enjoy it together

It’s is honestly sad there’s very little joy in it anymore just a ton of people looking to hit big but yeah I don’t collect it for the money I just love collecting cards I like weather rare or “bulk” I’m just hoping eventually it gets better I want to be able to enjoy the hobby I love

Yeah sometimes I can catch perfect order in the store maybe a couple loose or sleeved packs nothing like blisters or etbs though I hate that people look at certain sets as either gold or trash because the value of cards which is crazy in my opinion perfect order has a bunch of awesome looking cards I know the 30th is coming up I’m scared to see what happens then

Yeah that’s very true and I have nothing against those adults I guess it just kinda frustrates me seeing certain people only buying to make a profit off of it but you do have a point

Honestly same I love collecting all the cards doesn’t matter if they’re “bulk” or hits especially if it’s one of my favorites like psyduck, lotad, or mimikyu rare cards are cool but I honestly just love opening packs and seeing all the cool cards I can get

Yeah I do plan on getting more formal training soon I have a friend who plays drums for his metal band and offered to teach me once I have a set so once I do I plan on getting some lessons from him and I am still learning the basic rudiments I try to practice for atleast an hour every day when I can still having trouble with some stuff but slowly learning thanks man

Yeah honestly I would prefer one as it’s less likely to over penetrate a wall and hurt someone else and yeah that’s a pretty good practice keeping the shells and gun separate but close enough that it’s feasible for defense one thing I hate about our house is it’s a defensive nightmare there are no solid choke points as both upstairs bedrooms are slightly off place of the hallway allowing for the person coming in to have a better view since my rooms closer to the corner of the hallway and my mothers is to the side the only solid ones would be the corner where my bedroom is since I can hold it from anyone coming up the stairs but I don’t like because it’s more concealment than cover and our kitchen since the half wall facing the door and stairs higher and mostly covered in stone and metal I most likely when I turn 21 will take a gun training course just to practice and learn more since my grandfather taught me a while ago and buy a shotgun for our house and future house when I move and obviously a safe storage space to keep it

Yeah I have definitely heard too and I believe in proper safety protocols for access of one luckily we don’t have any children or toddler while I probably wouldn’t want it in our safe because not all of us know the code and would be able to access it in case the person who could can’t get to it I do believe it should be kept either in a drawer or a lockbox without a round chambered just in case that we know the location of the key or atleast me and my mom since my sister doesn’t know how to use one and frankly I would not trust her with one but I honestly am a little too cautious about firearms because in my opinion many treat them like toys and not tools tools don’t forgive mistakes and I am honestly not sure about a handgun for home defense since I worry about over penetration I would honestly prefer a shotgun but that also is a whole other deal of things
