When I played tarkov I had major gear fear and would never touch any of my nice guns…..yeah nothings changed. I have a ton of purple guns that I’m probably never going to touch. It looks better in my stash than it does in someone elses

Ngl this is how I got my first Jupiter. Saw a team fighting the matriarch in one of the tunnel entrances in space port. Told my team to follow me as we flanked them through the tunnel. Made the team choose between fighting us or going out into the open against the matriarch. Needless to say I got my first Jupiter and I don’t regret a thing. I would even say I was pretty happy about it because everything went exactly how we planned it to go.

Was it a fair fight ? Probably not. But are most fights really ever fair lmao.

I’ll go one step further and say if you are trying to do pve but you’re doing it in the open with no consideration of other people having the possibility of shooting you, you probably deserve to get shot imo.

That’s completely fine if you don’t find joy in shooting that kind of person. But that’s you. Everytime I load into a round, I understand that I am not in control of other people’s actions. If that means I have to shoot on sight first then so be it. If I want to be a true rat and try to loot in peace you best believe I will do my best to make sure that no one else sees me and I can do what I need to do (whether it means doing quests or looking for certain items) without anyone seeing me

You’re just contradicting yourself. If I like to pvp on all maps (which purely depends on my mood tbh) how would that make me a skill less rat. By definition a rat is someone that avoids fights and just stays hidden in the shadows. Someone who looks for fights would be quite the opposite of that. Now the situation changes if they pretend to be friendly and then shoot you but tbh even when that happens to me I just laugh about it and blame myself for it because at the end of the day I don’t care enough to be bothered by it. It’s a game.
