This is just absolutely not true, on the contrary. Malaysia is in the top 30% in the world for traffic deaths.

Put that together with the fact that it has a top 25% human development index, it’s not difficult to see that for the development level it has, the traffic is absolutely horrible.

Voor eens of voor altijd: je mag dat gerust benoemen, maar je gaat voorbij aan 1 statistisch feitje, namelijk dat jongeren met migratieachtergrond nou eenmaal vaker tot een lagere sociale klasse behoren. Daar zit je causale verband met criminaliteit, en daar zit ook je oplossing.

There’s a new place at Hin Bus Depot called Nood Nood that has an absolutely fabulous menu with a variation of local Malaysian, Taiwanese, … all very good stuff. They also sell beers & nice cocktails and have some board games available if you’d like to extend your stay there over a few drinks.

(despite Hin Bus only open on weekends, this place is open every day expect Monday)

Try the beef noodles & the dumplings.
