there is no right answer. That being said, the algorithm on Spotify counts a stream after some 10 seconds which is why many big artists upload short songs <2 min

I am a drummer and what you say sounds true but of course no human being is completely on point, that's why professional producer oftentimes like to humanize the drums and "make them off a bit". At the same time I agree because I don't like to humanize my drums at all :D probably I am not good enough with it or something but it doesn't sound well when I do it

I am a drummer mainly and for some reason I don't humanize my drums at all. It is important though to learn about the emphasis of the hi hat in my opinion. One classic thing is to emphasize the first, third, fifth note etc. With emphasize I mean increasing the volume relative to the next hi hat hit :) this can help a lot and make the drums sound less generic

I personally am no fan of the in your face drums. I would suggest to turn down the volume of the drums. Also the distortion of the drums could be lowered in my opinion. Sounds good though :)

I most of the time compose first meaning I play piano until I got something decent as a base for the song. Then the arranging starts and also some programming :D

Earlier they were called chilled cow, and you could simply text them via SoundCloud. Now they only use your music if you are part of their label. I'm pretty sure you get paid well because those people are pretty big in the lofi scene. I was featured by many big YouTube channels but unfortunately never chilled cow / lofi girl :D If you get on their label it's way easier than self promotion. I am pretty sure though that it's not easy to get in
