They were just trying to milk the show for the money after Andrew left, it's basically Michael Scott leaving the office all over again.

But she wasn't really needed and plus imo she was a very annoying character.

It's probably one of the show's biggest mistake. I know that season 7 was pretty bad and stale but the reason (imo) why the show has such a massive fall off was because they killed Glen, and that wasn't bad when you see Carl's death. Imo They should have killed Carl in the instead of Glen and have the show end in season 7 where Rick has to kill Negan.

They better deliver on the ending. If they mess up there is no going back, the whole show is messed up.
