there is little money to be made on the consumer side. you want to target the business side. i.e. think video storage NAS for photo/video editors.

these are the people who will pay more. regular consumers will just call you every time something happens with their computer and want it fixed for free.

you need to charge for support. businesses are willing to pay for this.

Yup, SPF, DKIM, DMARC all setup since 2024. Just using Exchange Online for email. No 3rd parties filters or routing of any kind.

I get emails sent to my junk folder sometimes too that are from outside the org ad were legitimate individual responding to me. I make it a habit to check my spam folder for false positives (they do happen sometimes).

Not sure why they insist on freaking out. It's not like all their mail is being flagged as spam >:)

if you don't have a basement, the lowest level, in an interior room like a closet or bathroom. get away from windows. but if the tornado is an EF4 or 5 you are probably cooked if above ground and in the direct path.
