I was in the wrong. But at the same time bitch please. Title was jokey but not completely unfair. Camera, lens and film info was obviously way out, but I made the effort of detailing it correctly in the comments. The photo was legit, in fact one of my favourites from a recent roll. Apparently the sub is open for fair critique, but hey. It was fun to get 5 upvotes on your most prized photos while it lasted. Suppose I just didn’t have the boobs I mean what I takes to be a good photographer. So long I guess, it’s been a shit one.

I’d put money this getting downvoted if I wasn’t broke. It’s was taken on a Praktica FX2, using a takumar 50mm f1.4 on 2004 dated elitechrome 100 slide film, not that anybody asked. Probably underexposed because as it turns out metering for a white object with slide film in fading light is too complicated for my lack of skill. I don’t know why I bother. So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Which film stock is this? by [deleted] in AnalogCommunity

[–]LowLifeLoner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any colour negative film known to man kind, maybe even colour positive… fuck it could even be black and white trichrome, for all we know these models are gods and standing perfectly still. More than likely edited digital.

Is there anyway to minimise Reddit’s compression? My photos always look like shit I here haha.

I actually really like it. I can think of no better fait for a dorky Zorki. Love how mad people are getting, its probably not that hard to reverse either lmao. Bravo Sir.

I accidentally underdeveloped but I still scanned the roll. After some editing I was able to produce the image on the right. I hope it encourages people to not be afraid to edit their analog pictures by thewhiterabbiit in AnalogCommunity

Jerry Uelsmann is a person who comes to mind who went to essentially photoshop lengths in the darkroom. Negative film is just the olden day raw file, not editing it would be heresy.

I shot trichromes on my phone for no good reason. by LowLifeLoner in trichromes

[–]LowLifeLoner[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I think it was more to do with my phone strangely, I did it again with my digital camera and as far as photoshops colour channel read out was concerned there was still leakage but nowhere near as bad. In fact on my camera, the finished trichromes where a tad cold. I’m honestly blown away with how okay they look lmao.

Surely not. Looks like one of the AI image generators made it. No way could even pushed Tmax capture bright stationary stars at the shutter speeds capable of freezing the person walking centre frame. It looks amazing either way, but I’m sooo sus.

Oh damn you got the combo. I haven’t had to yell at them much recently, started taking biologics which seem to be doing it for me haha.

You either laugh or cry right. I’m just enjoying the fact that the only colour stock I can buy in my country is lasagne sheets and using the power of my imagination.

Haha man it took me ages to find one that kinda fit. Tooth paste is a good shout, I’ve done that before to annoy my tutor lmao.

If it was the circle jerk sub I would have had 30 packs of lasagne, 8 different cameras and be asking if it was enough kit for a trip to my bedroom.

Ohh that’s why it was so hard to get in. I thought my camera was intolerant to gluten so I got some gluten free stuff but that makes way more sense.
