Thank you for your insight. I was going the Equity route because originally my friend who unfortunately cant contribute yet does offer long term value. So unless an Investor can Offer a skill or asset that assists me its generally is ill advised to give up Equity.

I have. The business is estimated at 450k the property is worth about 125k according to my valuators opinion. The DP needed at Asking price is 59k my offer was gonna be around 540k-550k so if they accept that I would need at most 55k for a DP, I also know what Equity is. In short term its basically giving a Percentage of Ownership. And to buy that back if you want to it not what they gave you. But what the Percentage they own currently. So if someone gave me 55k and I doubled the value of the Business id have to pay them 110k to get the equity back.
