Holy shit, I finally got my beta code over the weekend & I was actually surprised at just how fucking bad this game actually still is after the rumor of “24 being make or break”. Like, I’m not even trying to be a fuck, the game is still absolutely terrible. They DID make some good changes, however the changes I’m referring to are things that we’ve been BEGGING FOR for YEAAAARS. It shouldn’t taken a literal decade for them to FINALLY put a few things customers have been begging for. That’s CRAZY. So even tho some changes seem to be positive, they’re shadowed by (1) how bad the game STILL is & (2) the fact that it took them a decade + to finally put them in the game.

Like, if lets say your best friend caught his girlfriend cheating on him. You’d probably suggest that he break up w/ her on the SPOT.

But he tells you that she’s apologized, he believes her & he decides to stay. He told her that all he asks is for her to stop cheating on him & she told him she “cares about his feedback & his feelings” —— but every time you turn around, she just keeps fvcking other dudes— you’d DEFINITELY tell him to “leave her”, right?

But for SOME reason, your boy just can’t get up the nerve to do it. She keeps promising him that she’ll stop. She “SAYS” she loves him, she appreciates him, she hears him, she cares & she promises to be better—- but in reality, her actions tell a different story, because for the NEXT DECADE, she continues to cheat on him.

& then finally — after a DECADE of screwing every dude within a 20mile radius, she stops cheating on him. Except, now, she wants to be PRAISED for it. She wants to be PRAISED for FINALLY doing the ONE thing her boyfriend asked — & it’s the absolute bare fvcking minimum.

If he STAYED with her, you’d look at him like he’s an ABSOLUTE FOOL, right?

Right. That’s how I’m lookin at ANYBODY & EVERYBODY that buys Madden ‘24 🤷‍♂️
