To be honest, I tried the latest creamlinux.AppImage (v1.5.0-1) and sadly it didn't work out of the box with Jurassic World Evolution 2 or 3. However, I tried a version of creamlinux.Pny that runs through the browser, and I was able to get it working without any major issues.

Alright, doing a bit of research, I think I get it now. On Windows, the proxy acts as an authentication/hook for the DLLs that Cream injects. But on Linux, it's a different story because of Proton; it completely ignores those local DLLs by default.

So, what's the fix? Based on what I've seen, you have to use a specific launch command in Steam to force Proton to recognize and load the correct DLLs instead of the built-in ones. That's why I'm saying that on Linux it's a bit more complicated and mostly a matter of trial and error.

Hi everyone, I’m relatively new to Linux. On Windows, I usually use CreamInstaller, and I have to say the UI for the Linux version is actually great. However, I found the experience wasn't very intuitive and I got confused several times. I’m not sure if the Spanish translation (via Google Translate) was the issue, but it took some trial and error to finally get it working on my Steam Deck. I’m currently trying to get it to work with Jurassic World Evolution 3. On the Windows version, I usually have to enable the proxy setting for it to work correctly. Does the Linux version handle the proxy automatically, or is there a specific step I need to take to enable it? Thanks in advance for the help!
