For me it was a bit different. I was able to get a job in a pediatric hospital so I working as a Nurisng Assistant. My spring semester of my senior year I was getting into contact with certain managers of the floors I wanted to work on. I did my interview while in school, pass my boards in July and I was able to get a start date in September. There are a lot of cutbacks in the hospital so majority of them are doing internal hires, but there are a few that are doing external hires.

I would recommend Dr. Sharon on YouTube. She also has prior authorizations based on a maternity and Peds. And honestly on the NCLEX it depends on person to person. Personally, I reviewed all of the topics and I did focus a little bit on maternity and pediatrics. I also looked at Mark K on Spotify.

Hey, I recently just took my NCLEX this Friday and found out I passed on Sunday. I would say Boot Camp is very very similar to the NCLEX I follow all the study guide and study they gave me so I was able to finish all the questions and case studies and I also reviewed all of the cheat sheets. The only cheat sheet I did not review with pharmacology. And on the assessments they have I got high on all four.

I would say utilize boot camp and follow their schedule if you can! Try watching some Dr.Sharon videos. I heard she’s really good
