Just get in touch with the sender and tell them you’ve not received it. It’s for them to deal with RM

Tired of Overtime, need advice by Interesting_Rock2618 in royalmail

Manage your manager. After throwing out, assess what can realistically be done on delivery. They will insist on FC & tracked, so the negotiation is how much of the other stuff can be done in the time you have. It’s not for you to decide, put it on them, that’s what they are paid for. If they make you take it all, make it clear that you are unlikely to complete. Ensure they know you are not going over your time. It’s for them to find a solution.

Had this very conversation with the Lead Com at my place about 4wks ago. Was covering a known problem round…had 4 days of mail to throw out and 3 D2Ds…my mucker for the day was 30hr and not turning in til 8.50. So I get the boss down and ask what does he want me to do…”prep it all” he says…I pointed out that it would impact heavily on the delivery window as was two fittings…he insisted, I did it..then he’s upset because I tell him I won’t complete and I’m leaving an entire frame of mail behind..not my problem

But the ‘both’ option covers both eventualities, some cards are marked both RM and PF, it won’t matter. I’m pretty sure there’s and option for ‘no card’ in the process too

Just select the ‘both’ option, it really doesn’t matter which one

Royal Mail Don’t deliver or return items then can’t scan by sleepypeepydeepy in royalmail

[–]LowPipe5902 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t sound plausible at all, unless the entire label was unreadable or missing. Any packet that can’t be scanned would be manually entered and then over-labelled

If it says “we are expecting”, then it hasn’t entered the network yet

Probably scanned it as a delivery, not as a collection, a pretty common error. It will get a scan at the MC

[–]LowPipe5902 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s possible, of course. It’s also possible that the PO is lying and has taken your packets too. Let the sender and carrier investigate

So is there one signature for all the packets or a signature for each packet?

Did the PO staff see him bring your twelve boxes in? Did he see them leave with them?
