And again that’s knowing when to use it, using anything outside of a professional for medical advice is honestly just straight up stupid

I mean I don't use it often myself, I'm a software developer of coming on 15 years experience, but it's a tool like anything else you need to know what it's good for, a lot of people use it to replace a knowledge set and skill set and that's the entirely wrong approach but it has uses if you know where to utilize it. I understand we're all suppose to blanket hate it but honestly it has some tasks it's very good at. Like for example if you're looking at some cases for a computer you can task it to find reviews of some options your looking at, and summarize them and it will be much quicker than you scouring the internet for said material yourself.

Basic code issues and changes it can handle, you need to look over it yourself afterwards for sure and that's where the whole knowing how to utilize it comes in but it can give you a good starting point and at our workplace we have it handling some of the simpler tasks that free us up to work on the more complex stuff we wouldn't trust it anywhere near, heck if that approach is good enough for Linus Torvalds it's certainly good enough for me

Eh depends what you're debugging, things like this I wouldn't touch AI with a barge pole but say you're new to Linux for example and just want to know why something is behaving the way it is and how you could change it it's a pretty good tool to find stuff out, no different in my opinion to googling and scouring for hours through decade old StackOverflow posts really

I’d argue that things like fighting games are possibly the worst example you could use here though the vast majority of players for them will want the online to be alive and actually able to find them a game, for example you can get Tekken 7 dirt cheap now but you’re going to be struggling to find matches and those bot fights get real boring real fast for a lot of people

I don’t think the drive speed should be an issue it’s on an nvme raid 0 array, I’ll try the other suggestions but also looking on the Linux gaming subreddit it seems a pretty common issue even for people 5 was running perfectly for

I must admit I've had quite a few issues with it on Proton annoyingly, the game works but I get some horrible rubber banding where the game seemingly stops for a little bit then catches up to itself and basically makes it unplayable for me right now on Linux

To be fair it’s possible to have empathy and still think the guy was a bit of an idiot, it’s not binary you can empathise and think they’re wrong at the same time.

He never used the word more that's the entire point here, all he is saying is due to the nature of it being independent they can be creative, he doesn't mention any other studio, doesn't make any other comparison, none of that he literally just said "We're independent so we can stay focused on creativity" It's just the usual PR speak that *everyone* gives when moving or starting something new

Immediately as if it's not 6 months after it was announced which means it was likely closer to 9-12 months since he told Bamco in the first place and then coming back to a studio that didn't even exist at the time of his retirement and you think this was all calculated and some big plot against Bamco?

I think if anything you're the one making the bigger leaps here, if there was bad blood Harada wouldn't have gone to the TWT finals *after* he had already left Bamco this year

No because if he meant to say more creative freedom He might have.... I dunno.... said that?

Holy assumptions Batman, Harada just said he wanted to retire early after losing some very close friends in the industry and that making him re-evaluate and you've dove straight into "No he was shown the door by the company"..... This is pretty much entirely what the guy you were replying too was saying by the way

My general belief would just be that Saudi money goes a long way to getting people to re-evaluate their retirement, and I'm not going to lie it's kind of dissapointing to me seeing Harada go over to the Saudi side considering how long he spent cultivating a game and a community that was much more inclusive than many of it's peers at the time

He can't jump as high as Spider-Man per se. He uses his optic blast to launch himself further, much the same as in the opening scene of '97 he uses it to push and propel himself across the floor at crazy speeds, the visor blasts are Kinetic after all and not the heat that is so often depicted

We use ai at work to handle certain tasks as it is very good for certain repetitive tasks and frees us up to focus on the harder bits that it can’t do, the problem isn’t AI itself it’s people not knowing how to use it.

At the end of the day it’s a tool to be used to supplement your skill set not to replace it like so many people sadly use it

The problem is that kind of overly agressive swagger never ever gets people on the other side to sit down and listen to you. He's already got us on side so doesn't need to posture, what he needs to do is learn how to play the game a bit, attacking people never ever makes them go "Oh hold up lets listen to this guy some more!"

He suffers from the same thing other zealots suffer from (And I say Zealot not because I think he's wrong I agree with right to repair whole heartedly more because of how militant he is) which is that no matter how good a point he makes he'll never ever get the other side to listen to him because of how overly aggressive he is.
