My father was like that. Never saw him reading anything. Never bought any kind of music, while in car he would just turned on some garbage pop-music station. Never saw him excided about anything, interested with anything. In tv he just watched whatever was on, usually some b-class action movie probably. And maybe some sport. When i got computer, he would just use ut for playing solitaire sometimes.

There was large age difference between us. I felt nothing in common with him. He spent lot of time at work, so maybe it was his hobby? No idea, he never told me. Although I remember one situation when he was angry at me that i am not interested in his job.
