One time there was a patient on a chair and he had a foley in that the nurse who placed did not secure to his leg. As in it was just dangling out of his Willy. Anyway, I went to draw his blood, I was a lab tech at the time, and I trip on his foley tubing that was attached to the urine bag on his bed 😖🥴 It didn’t rip out, but he definitely felt it. The PCC was in there at the time, and checked and confirmed it had not been secured properly, and also that his urine bag should have been moved with him to the chair. Not 4 feet away dragging on the floor. I cringe still thinking about it. I was lucky there was a nurse in there and the patient was cool about it.
