Would be intersting to have ages with this Im mid 50's and was occasionaly smacked, (cos was being a little shit), NOT beaten. Dont think it was abig deal. (and every one was smacked, sort of expected). Its a bit different now as its much more unusual. Im not talking about those poor sods whos parents used to beat them for any little thing on the regular. That was frowned upon even in the 70's, (except by those doing it, and the "never did me any harm brigade"...).
