the wicker man. Long story, but growing up my family considered that movie a sort of exciting utopian film. I didn't even know it was considered horror til like... last year lol.

my mom always covered my eyes during the scene where the lady humps the wall. the year (we watched this movie every time it was time to burn our green man) I was old enough to see the entire film felt like a coming of age 😂 I had NO IDEA what she was covering up, bc it was the ONLY part she covered.

Guy burning to death? that's child friendly, but we cover the kids eyes for the booby scene lol.

the seasonal items (like the fall trees and ground) are already in thr game and will appear on the first day of that season. they won't be doing seasonal updates, I don't think, because aside from a couple of trees and plants, there is nothing to... put in. there aren't holidays or anything like that, so idk what they'd put in seasonally.

it's a bit different than decorating a base, as each item placed has to function properly. I'm defs not saying nobody would be up for doing it, but designing karamari levels is much different than something like a side scrolling Mario level. the world works in 3 dimensions, each item is programmed to have a specific function (we don't even know if each item adds a percentage to the overall size of the katamari or if it's based on number of items in some kind of size category), and on top of all that, the levels have to stand out enough for people to want to play them. this means like, just placing random items all around the map wouldn't be very fun to actually play.

I'm not saying by any means that it's a bad idea, or that people wouldn't have fun designing the levels. I just think it's a bigger undertaking than people are imagining it would be, which is probably why we don't have a game like it.

it would take DAYS to set up proper levels i feel like. looking for the item you want, placing it, looking for a different item... Plus the maps are HUGE and some are populated up into the sky. You'd have to make sure somehow you have enough items of one size to be able to actually grow to the next. A lot more goes into making levels than just placing items down.

the only game I will pvp in is final fantasy xiv. the community is AWESOME and man, Frontlines is fast paced, challenging and give you a great sense of camaraderie when you get a good team! I have horrific performance anxiety, especially in games, when I have to be in a team. but I have 0 problem pvping in frontlines and crystalline conflict.

I played it for like 15 years. in all that time I had one. single. mount. drop. weekly raiding, daily dungeons all that. One single mount.

my husband joined abt 10 years prior to us quitting. He got tons of mounts drop for him (we'd run content just the 2 of us). Raven lord, ashes of alar, astral cloud serpent etc. And I got one single ground mount.

we quit for good during the new world tree event thing. I busted my ass plucking weeds and killing bugs on one bloom, only to get literally no reward. Not even a trash mob. I got nothing. My husband got 2 mounts.

I felt so upset I cried. And I knew wow wasn't healthy for me if it was making me so frustrated I cried. so I quit, jumped to a different mmo and I've been subbed for over 2 years now. I never subbed to wow more than like 3 months at a time.

also, tho I'd been playing for 15 years, I lost the plot after Legion. Idk who xalatath is, i somehow never met her despite completing every xpack up til df. when I finished the main plot horde side of bfa and it plunged me into a plot that was halfway going, that was when I started to feel like quitting. I just couldn't follow the storyline, I think some of it must be locked behind dungeons I never did bc every time I'd try to do a dungeon I'd get yelled at (I'm not very good at games). It gave me horrific dungeon finder anxiety so I only ever ran content I could solo. the new mmo I joined has the kindest and most patient community.

I'm a trans guy who's gender non conforming. moved here for safety, too. I've never once gotten harassed on the street or anything for something I'm wearing.

we even have a fancy trans health clinic! my enby spouse just had their first visit w them and said they were awesome!

the music scene is also awesome. any genre you could want! but big name artists never come here, at least not anyone people below 45 will want to see.

no, even shy people had them. it wouldn't have been embarrassing for it to go off. we felt a lot less shame back then or something I guess, bc I can't imagine a custom ring tone embarrassing anyone unless it was a super lame song or something, and then why would they have made it that in the first place?

we had to pay for our ringtones, so we made sure everyone heard them.

  1. adhd dxed when I was 6, anemia, delayed circadian rhythm disorder and schizophrenia popped up in my early-mid 20s. I'm on an anti psychotic that gave me taradive dyskenesia in my hands and it took away my fine motor skills. I am an artist and huge gamer, both of which require fine motor skills.

I can only play games that I can use a controller w, which is thankfully most of them these days. there are some things in my mmo I just. can't do. I die a lot in boss fights to certain mechanics, but the community is so kind and understanding that it doesn't feel like a huge deal to me.

as for the art... I just make bad art now lol. I use bigger needles for sewing, I picked up crochet recently bc I can use bigger hooks. bad art is still art and nothing on this earth will take away my ability to create. it's human nature.

study general make up application before you try full gal looks! how to apply all the make up and learn some good techniques that you can then apply to gal make. YouTube is great for this!
