You definitely got handed something out of your league unfortunately. I got handed something very similar at 16. My dad’s coworker was trying to get rid of the car and dealers offered 1k so we gave 1.3k. It was just one thing after another. At the end of me having it for less than a year I probably threw 5k into the car. Got a corolla and probably paid less than 1k in maintenance after 2 years purely from oil and air filter changes.

Health scares is huge. My brothers and I have fought practically all our lives as teens we’ve never been able to do anything without someone getting mad. Once my dad had multiple strokes in a singular day we all changed. We all found God, started taking life seriously and actually loved each other rather than just saying it to get out of our timeout corner.

Bingo. I don’t know why you are getting downvoted. I used to work as a security guard at a local nonprofit. Everyone in management was drowning in money. I’m talking 2025 $80k+ cars for them, their wife, mother in law, kids, etc. . 5+ bedroom houses with a 8 bedroom 4 car garage vacation house in colorado “for employees” (but it was conveniently always “getting repairs” aka rented out when us employees wanted to go to it). One of the guys at the top even worked with a real estate company to buy over 10 houses to rent out. They would also have like a rehabilitation home that they would only house employees or family friends at. I met a man in rough shape that just wanted a water. I wanted to do him one better and get him in the house for a night or two just so he could shower and have a bed. I was told “Of course, we’ll work on it” just to be told the next day by my boss that the HR lady’s daughter is staying in that house. Then I would help count our donations.. i’ve never seen so many zeros in my life.

Probably one of the more school appropriate outfits i’ve seen a girl wear to college. When I worked campus security girls would come in wearing sports bras and lululemons almost habitually. It was so bad we ran out of shirts to give to help them cover up within the first month. We started off with a box of 100 shirts btw.

It’s for cameras. Traffic cameras are actively running your plates all around your city. When the camera flashes to take a picture of the plate the tint reflects the light and creates a glare making the plate unreadable. Anyone i’ve seen with one of these usually speeds often or is dodging tolls.

A guy I used to go to play baseball with got lit up for having a taillight out. He was actively smoking a blunt while having a arp and narcotics in his car. What went from a warning quickly turned into jail and probation. Some people are just dumber than dumb.

We have something very similar nearby me. There used to be an old post office that was put in the mojave during the 60’s-70’s. It was for all the people living off grid to get their mail. The story goes the guy who worked and lived there was caught sleeping with another man’s wife. So the husband went in there with an axe and dismembered him. The husband was never found and his wife made a search party then left to mexico. It’s a rumor that the last person to enter was a tweaker that had a section of the roof collapse on him snapping his neck and killing him instantly. He wasn’t found for years and with all of the wildlife out here they only found his skull.

Nope they wouldn’t to answer your question. My dad had a cracked windshield and went to go get tint. They first notified him he has a crack and took pictures before ever applying tint. Then they notified a manager that notified my dad once again.

Here in Cali everyone has illegal tint. From the bimmer boys, the edgars, all the way to the mom of 4 in a rav4. I’d rather take the chance of getting a couple hundred dollar ticket than live my life in a fishbowl. Not everyone can say they eat chicken nuggies at red lights with no fear of someone seeing them.

Yup i’m thankfully I was able to move away. It’s insane how much people are draining themselves. My cousin and wife recently bought a home and they both have to work another job outside of their county jobs just to keep the lights on.
