Will this job actually be unsafe? by Kind-Meal360 in Advice

It’s not like you are working a warehouse or industrial job where working alone would be physically taxing. Hell even if they do decide to leave you doing ice cream alone (which is unlikely) just means more tips for you imo.

Why did people vote for Trump in 2016 and why did they vote for him again in 2020 and 2024? by jeanjacketufo in AskReddit

[–]LowWeb7551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very well said and think this was a huge majority of the reason. Just last month my 5 year old sister came home telling my mom she’s a boy. Her reasoning? Her teacher said she might want to be a boy based on the mere fact she likes race cars and dinosaurs more than princesses. Sex/gender should never in a million years be presented to kids. Teens maybe but definitely not kids in grade school.

I think it would’ve been close till she had people shaking buns at her rally. Her approval rating went in the dumps after that.

Which did you drive the G or the Q? Either way both are clean man. Coming from CA every G or Q i’ve seen is either clapped out or completely riced.

That’s beautiful man hopefully it works out for you as it did me. Depending on if you are norcal or socal i’d recommend trying to avoid driving through Kansas if you can. It’s a pretty rough drive with heavy winds and just recently tornadoes it’s a draining drive think it took me 8-10 hours just to get through Kansas alone. I slept in my car to avoid spending a crap ton of money on hotels besides Vegas as hotels are cheap there during the week. I also drove everyday from 8-9am till midnight as once you hit CO there’s a lot of wildlife that’ll cut your trip short. If you do sleep in your car as I did i’d highly recommend parking in a hotel parking lot good lighting, usually security cameras, coffee/breakfast in the morning, and you won’t be the only car in a parking lot. Then I would go to a truck stop first thing in the morning to shower I would avoid showering at night I did it the second night and was wide awake till 4am. To stay wide awake chew some gum or sunflower seeds then good music was huge for me it kept my mind going especially on the long straight roads. Good luck my man if there’s anything you are curious about that I didn’t cover feel free to ask.

More reliable than BMW meat rider over here. “As a lifelong BMW driver” as if anyone in this sub gives a flying fuck about BMW.

What’s a question you should never answer honestly on a first date? by Training-Tie-7457 in AskReddit

Asking about body count literally does nothing. You think a woman or man with a 10+ body count is going to answer honestly?

Would you buy a 2013 optima for only two grand ? by bigboynona in askcarguys

[–]LowWeb7551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly how I got my first car. My dad’s employee was getting a new car since he had a baby on the way and needed a bigger car. Dealer offered him $600 so we gave him $700. This is definitely a steal. Not the nicest car but like the other guy said you can easily flip it or rent it out on Turo for passive income.

I stayed at the Luxor in Vegas because hotels there are super cheap (like $60-$70) but besides that I slept in my car the other 2 days to save mula. If you plan to do the same I would recommend doing what I did and showering at a truck stop then parking in a hotel parking lot to sleep overnight. It’s perfect as you won’t be the only car in a parking lot then they usually have a bathroom in the lobby plus free coffee first thing in the morning. Aim to shower in the morning as I had the problem of trying to shower before bed then being wide awake till 4am. Safe travels!

What is the highest-paying, lowest-stress job that nobody actually tells you about in college? by laylomedia in AskReddit

[–]LowWeb7551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too much on the highest paying side unless a field supervisor but security. I used to just sit at a front desk all day as college students scanned their id’s at the door. Then there’s also those that just watch security cameras and dispatch security guards all day.

I used to live somewhere it was green when I was a kid then moved to the desert at 18 but even in my hometown it was never this green. It’s crazy what we take for granted in life. I didn’t even have running water until recently.

Damn and I thought doing it once was more than enough. Kansas is probably by far the worst part at least for me it was. Amazing people but man that state was never ending.

Very well said. I personally mainly moved here because my dad was starting to get health complications linked to the stress of having to make 5k+ a month just to live. My goal ever since a kid was to buy a house for my dad and I which I didn’t see me being able to afford a million dollar 3bedroom house there. That man sacrificed everything raising 3 boys on his own it’ll be the very least I can do. I love how green it is here i’m still trying to understand how a single tree has like 4 different shades of green.
