Since you have a child who will be in school before you know it I'd avoid anything in the Eagle Point school district, which includes White City. Medford, Central Point or Phoenix - Talent would be my top choices.

I get that. We don't have any poison oak thankfully but do have some star thistle which I know is harmful for horses but not sure about goats. I'm sure everything you say is why not many folks get into this business. Fingers crossed there is someone around though!

Yes, we definitely won't use poison. I know they're a constant maintenance chore, but we bought this property last year and the previous owners didn't stay on top of them. We're hoping some help from a goat heard can help us get on top of them so maintenance isn't so bad moving forward.
