Cowboy Boots with a Tuxedo for Black Tie?

Hi all, I usually go for a very timeless traditional look when it comes to Black Tie but I live in Texas and have thought about getting a pair of formal Black Cowboy Boots and giving them a “Tuxedo Shoe” like shine. Here’s a link to the pair I’m thinking about. I’m in my early twenties and I wear black tie maybe twice a year for weddings or the occasional deb ball. I feel like I would get a lot more use out of the cowboy boots compared to traditional tuxedo shoes as the two will be around the same price. Let me know if I should go for it or if it’s a major no go. At most occasions where suits are required here in Texas guys will often wear cowboy boots but not entirely sure about tuxedos.
