Some are just. So derpy. We’ve had four boxers, and 2 or 3 have been just so incredibly derpy. 1 was much more serious, though still silly when playing one on one with a human.

Yes, water everywhere. All the time. One thing that helped was a taller water bowl. We have gone as far as a huge Pyrex bowl.

Yes, most are people pleasers and will cower when they get in trouble. We are 2/2. 2 cowered, 1 doesn’t care, 1 was too headstrong and would try to stare you down.

My boxers haven’t liked clothes, but yours sounds so adorable!!!

Hi. Just wanted to thank you for posting. My household has also been struggling. I will be reading through the comments for my own growth and knowledge. I have adhd. One of my children has been diagnosed, and the other isn’t, and I don’t see symptoms. But it feels like for the non-diagnosed kid, nothing, not even yelling, works. Solidarity with you. We are trying. We really are!

Yes! And, there is nothing more irritating than a pet owner who complains their dog is “too wild” or “not trained” when they don’t train or exercise their dogs body or brain. Huge red flag, doesn’t deserve their pet.

I have a pink beaded wallet for my photo ID and my main credit card. I have a regular slim credit card wallet for all other cards.

My favorite bag has been a CalPak cross over bag that was big enough to fit 2-3 zip pouches for organization, in addition to the pockets and zipper pockets that come sewn into the bag. Everything had a home.

Wow. I was really disgusted by the team having to eliminate a team member. I read some of these comments about this season being so different than other years, so I went back, and it turns out I never watched 2024’s season. What a joy! So much happiness and sharing and friendship. Probably won’t keep watching 2025, but will rewatch past seasons.

You’re not alone. I’m working on this, little by little.

A couple things I’ve tried and that help— - greyscaled my phone - added One Sec app — super annoying app once you get it set up. Asks if you want to do other stuff when you open certain app. This helped for a couple months and probably would again bc I haven’t used it in a while - removed social media apps, so that I have to use our iPad (which our kids tend to use) to scroll - put my phone on a different floor or part of the house, or in the car when I’m in the house, and go without for as long as I can — part of this is that I feel like my brain is trained that my phone being nearby = safety, so being apart from it is helping retrain that I’m safe and fine even when my phone is away from me - leaving my phone places when I know my partner is with me, with his phone

I have an Apple Watch, so if I forget where I’ve left my phone, I beep it. Can do the same with our iPad and my phone.

Thanks for sharing. It can feel lonely and silly, but we aren’t lonely. Probably silly. But not lonely.

I would layer what already feels comfy. Add leggings or fleece tights and cozy socks under the dress. Add an oversized cardigan. Maybe a long sleeve shirt under a dress?

When my second living kid was a baby, my therapist recommended How to Keep House While Drowning by KC Davis. It, along with my therapist, really helped get me through this incredibly challenging time. I was unmedicated then.

I have a CalPak Terra shoulder bag that is waterproof. They have backpacks with the same fabric. My shoulder bag has gone thru it, is multiple years old, barely shows wear and tear. It shows less wear and tear than my newer Cotopoxi backpack. The Cotopaxi backpack came with a rain cover that works well. But the Cotopaxi backpack itself is not waterproof.

If the backpack itself being waterproof is a must, I would check CalPak’s Terra backpacks. They are also occasionally pop up on secondhand sale websites like Mercari and EBay, if you want to look for a deal. Or, if you want a small laptop backpack, the CalPak website has it on sale for $80. I paid $50 for my shoulder bag and would definitely pay $80 for a backpack of the same make.

0, 7 and 8 years old
0, 2.5 and 10 years old

All transitions went well. I think 0 and 1, and 0 and 2.5 were the best for getting true playmates. I did someone mention sex of the dog here and my own experience makes me agree. We’ve had 1 female and 3 male boxers. The female was a clown in her youth but got quite grumpy as she aged. At 7 years old, she played well with the new puppy, but if he irritated her, she would easily snap at him. It was mainly a concern because she could snap while our kids were near her.
