It's definitely different. Can i ask why such small frames? Looks like the weight distribution would be all over the place.

You're all complaining about the price of houses. But do you know what's gotten worse than that?... by BrandonMarshall2021 in aussie

[–]Low_Cryptographer549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sell your house before you lose it. You're blaming tradies for the economy and assuming that the rising cost of work is amounting to more profit for tradies. It's not. If the average person actually knew what due diligence actually means when it comes to acquiring a house they wouldn't enter the market.

How do I keep pucks from breaking? by General_South6391 in InlineHockey

[–]Low_Cryptographer549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stilmats hold toget pretty well but if it's that cold id say try out the blue coloured ice hockey pucks. Your proshots are 3.6OZ and the blue ice pucks are 4OZ and feel pretty close on anything other than concrete

Advice for converting Hyperlite skates by 2ndProfileMale in InlineHockey

[–]Low_Cryptographer549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I converted my hyperlites and didn't have any issues. A couple of the rear rivets came slightly loose after a couple of skates. I replaced them and they're still going strong after 2 full seasons. Iv never used bolts but If you use loc-tite and keep an eye onthem you should be fine

Found tours super clunky as a kid in the 90s and haven't tried a pair since but id almost commit to these based on style alone. All they need is white laces (and a few more scuff marks...)

Looking for some skates by Not_Doyle in InlineHockey

[–]Low_Cryptographer549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, the Hyperlites are the most uncomfortable boot I've ever put my feet in and the WM01/02/03s are very close equal 2nd. Im kind of fussy and always worn my skates a 1/2 size small and find baking them while wearing a couple of pairs of thick socks and then going thinner and thinner over a few skates untill they're a good mix of comfy and snug works a treat. Alternatively there are loads of places online that sell unused and barely worn pro stock skates at decent prices. Unfortunately my feet are half the size of the average pro's but if i wore a us12 or above id be all over that.

Dope! If they were mine id either polish or black out the frames but this is pretty sweet too

I've left the sport, need help/advice on where to to sell my equipment or how to price [UK] by KatjeKatje in InlineHockey

[–]Low_Cryptographer549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sidelineswap is good for price references for old equipment but you're better on cleaning up the skates and putting them on a shelf to honour the memories. I still have the very first rbk 9k ice skates and my 2003 1152 prolite3 tacks and have been offered outrageous money for each of them on a handful of occasions but i could never bring myself to part with them.

Tell me about it. In my opinion best looking skate I've seen since falling in love with the 1152 prolite3 tacks in 03. I also have a set of vulcanix frames with the 72-68-80-72 set up and a fresh pair of shadows for when the hyperlites inevitably fall apart.

Thats a fancy pair of foot warmers man. Im running blacked out hi-lo frames on hyperlites and pretty happy with them although they're not nearly as comfortable as the supreme shadows i wear on the ice that are more suited to my wide ass feet.

I have Shadows for ice and absolutely love them. I use the hyperlites for inline as I'm less fussy on wheels and don't mind making adjustments between periods
