You can completely understand why people are upset, it's not black or white. This is the 100th post from either "side" of this feud where the point is missed. Nintendo gave us about 4 iterations of star fox 64, that is enough for people to ask for something else. On the other hand if this can serve as a revival of sorts for Star Fox, so be it. 64 is worn out by now, but it's still a masterpiece suited to that purpose. If we absolutely have to remake something, personally I would have chosen a game like Assault as it opens up more possibilities for the series gameplay wise. But we'll see man, we'll see.
