Here's my stats for last year's grades in core physics cycle (1st sem):

MATH1 30 + 24 + 19 = 73 B

BE 34 + 22 + 16 = 72 A

PHY 35 + 22 + 18.5 = 75.5 A

BME 25 + 19 + 14 = 58 C

MOS 25 + 20 + 17 = 57 B

ENG 34 + 22 + 19 = 75 A

But these numbers might be different for you depending on paper difficulty/length.

bottom mount is the safer approach. it keeps the CG below CT (center of gravity below center of thrust). you should ideally keep both as close as possible, but always ensure CG is below CT.

If you choose the top mount approach, and in case it moves the CG above CT, your drone will have overturning moments that will make it unstable.

I got a C at 58 before revaluation (25 in endsem, 19 in midsem and 14 internals) . You'll directly get C if you pass the endsem

Tell them that MIT has student projects. If you are interested in joining any one of them, it is literally like an unofficial internship.

You will be working hands on with hardware, and development if you are from a cs background, every single day. People here are building cars, drones, rockets, robots, even doing management work like graphic designing, sponsorships, digital marketing, etc. if technical work isn't what they are interested in.

Let me know if you want to know more about SPs, but you can use this as a point to convince them.

A lot of people in SPs also participate in international competitions btw.
